Rewind it back to the past. I forgave too easily.

"I don't like you anymore."

I stared at him as he cast his purple gaze on the ground. "You... don't mean it, do you?"

"I'm sorry." He only spoke those two words.

Sorry.

Sorry didn't mean anything. It was just a word.

I could feel the hopelessness in his voice as he walked away. As he spoke. "We never would have worked out. We're too different."

And even though I didn't want to, I forgave him.

Rewind everything.

He had pulled me into a kiss, and my heart melted. I had pushed back, and it was so wrong, but it felt right.

It felt like I had found the other half I needed.

And for that, I forgave him.

Remove those memories and let me start over.

I watched him as he wandered around, probably older than when we first met. He was still in the same rags, but at least he seemed to be better off.

He pulled me into a corner, and showed me a coin.

"Where did you get that?" I asked.

"I stole it."

And even though it was wrong, I forgave him.

Rewind it. Start from the beginning again.

I started as a hand grabbed the apple from him. I looked up, and he stood there, eating the apple.

I stood up and glared at him.

He said, "I'm sorry, but I'm hungry. I have had no food or parents."

I believed him. He was dressed in rags, so different from my clothes.

And I forgave him.

Start it over.

I blinked. I couldn't remember what I was doing.

I stood up, walked to my room.

In the room, the window was open, and a blond-haired man with purple eyes stood there. I should have been shocked, but I wasn't. I seemed to have known him, in another time.

"Who are you?" I asked, staring at him.

He smiled.

"Hello, my name is Phantom. Pleased to meet you."

I forgave him, but something at the back of my mind tells me I shouldn't have.

We're starting over.

A/N) fff. For people who don't get the time differences, up until it says "Start it over", it was actually rewinding. So, the first event happened AFTER the second, the second happened after the third... ... ... Yeah. My headcanon states that Luminous is very forgiving to people he loves. At the end, when Phantom appears, it's actually after the battle, and after they woke up. Luminous didn't know him, because this time around, Freud did NOT introduce Phantom to the others. And since Phantom was late anyway, Luminous had NEVER met Phantom until that point. So yeah. XD
