Helen Parr, also known Elastigirl woke up at six in the morning. She remembered that her husband, Bob Parr, Mr. Incredible had superhero work to do with his good friend Lucius, Frozone. They were supposed to meet up with Edna Mode, get a new version of their supersits, and save the world.

Helen looked at her husband. Bob was still asleep. "Hey, Bob, wake up. You've got to be Mr. Incredible and go to Edna's." Helen said. "Lucius will be here soon."

There was no answer. "Bob?" Helen put her husband's head. He was warm. "Oh no." Quickly, Helen got dressed and ran downstairs.

Violet woke up. She opened the closet and saw that her super suit had paint on it. She growled.

"Dash, what did you do to my suit!?" Violet asked. "Don't blame me. I didn't do anything!" Dash yelled. "Yes you did! You took it last night when I was sleeping and then got paint on it!" Violet yelled.

"No I didn't!" Dash yelled. "Now I can't be invisible! Thanks Dash!" Violet yelled and snatched her suit from her brother. "Hey!" Dash yelled.

While Dash and Violet were yelling at each other, the youngest member of the Parr family, Jack-Jack, was laughing at his brother and sister arguing about a suit.

Dash and Violet took their arguing downstairs. Helen was in the kitchen. She was going to pick the phone up until she saw Dash and Violet screaming.

Using her powers, she stretched her arms out and grabbed onto her children. "What's going on here?" she asked.

"Mom, Dash took my suit and got blue paint on it and now my suit won't turn invisible." Violet explained.

Helen looked at Dash. "Why are you looking at me?" Dash asked. "Dash, clean your sister's suit. I've got to call Lucius." Helen said. "Alright." Dash said.

"Why are you calling Lucius?" Violet asked. "Your father's not feeling well and I'm telling Lucius to go to Edna's by himself." Helen explained.

"Oh." Dash said. "Then who's going to save the world?" Violet asked. "I will." Helen said. "But what about Lucius?" Dash asked. "I'll just tell him to hang out with Edna today." Helen explained.

"Okay." Dash said. "Wait, who's gonna watch Jack-Jack?" Violet asked. "You two will." Helen said.

"What!?" Violet and Dash asked. "Look. You two are going to watch Jack-Jack." Helen ordered. "Why can't we get a babysitter?" Violet asked. "No. Remember what happened with Kari?" Helen asked.

"And Tony Rydinger?" Dash teased. "That's it!" Violet yelled. She started to attack her brother.

"That's enough! I don't want to hear this when I'm gone!" Helen yelled. "Do you understand?"

Dash and Violet nodded. "Good." Helen picked the phone up and called Lucius. "Lucius, it's Helen. Listen, you have to go to Edna's by yourself."

Jack-Jack teleported from the bedroom to the kitchen and laughed. "There goes his powers." Dash said.

Violet picked up her brother, but he turned into a demon baby. Violet scream and dropped Jack-Jack. He didn't get hurt because he went into a Interdimensional wormhole.

"Jack-Jack? Oh no." Dash said. Then Jack-Jack appeared by the TV. "Do we really have to keep an eye on him?" Violet asked.

"Yes." Helen replied. "Fine." Violet said. Helen put her super suit on and left the house.

"Okay. What can we do?" Violet asked. "Why are you saying we? I'm gonna watch TV." Dash said. "Mom said that we need to watch Jack-Jack." Violet said.

"Oh yeah? Well you're not doing a good job." Dash said. "What are you talking about?" Violet asked. Dash pointed to missing baby.

Violet gasped. "Where is he?" she asked. Dash saw him, trying to open a cookie jar. "There he is!" he yelled. He ran over to Jack-Jack, but then he teleported.

"Now where did he go?" Dash asked. Violet saw a green light flashing light in the kitchen. "There!" she yelled.

Violet and Dash ran to the kitchen. Jack-Jack started floating upstairs. "I see him!" Dash yelled. "He's going into Mom and Dad's room!" Violet yelled.

When they got to the bedroom, they saw Bob sleeping and Jack-Jack sitting next to him. "Oh thank goodness." Dash said. "He's safe with Dad." Violet said.

"Man. I'm tired. How long has Mom been gone?" Dash asked. Violet looked at the clock. "About ten seconds." she answered.

"What!? That was all ten seconds!? It felt like hours!" Dash screamed. "Actually it felt like minutes, but she's only been gone for ten seconds." Violet said.

Bob woke up to find his three kids in his room. "What? What's going on?" he asked. "Mom's out doing hero work and we're stuck here keeping an eye on Jack-Jack." Dash explained.

"Ever thought of getting a babysitter?" Bob asked. "Dad, remember what happened with Kari?" Violet asked. "Anyway, Mom said that we need to keep an eye on him."

Mr. Incredible was drained and fell asleep. Jack-Jack went closer to him. Violet and Dash left the room.

"Violet?" Dash asked. Violet looked at him. "Yeah?" she asked. "What would happen if Dad got Jack-Jack sick?" Dash asked.

"We'd have to take care of him." Violet explained. "No. I'm talking about his powers." Dash said. "Like that will happen." Violet said. "But what if it does?" Dash asked. "Look, Mom said that we're in charge. With us in charge, it won't happen." Violet said.

Mr. Incredible sneezed and Jack-Jack started feeling a little off. Violet and Dash ran upstairs. They saw Jack-Jack.

Violet picked him up. Dash looked at him. "Um Violet? I think something's wrong with Jack-Jack." Dash said. "How do you know?" Violet asked. "Look at him. Doesn't he look a little pale?" Dash asked.

"You're nothing but pale!" Violet yelled. "No. I'm fine. Look at Jack-Jack. I think Dad got him sick." Dash said.

"You just want that to happen Dash." Violet said. "What?" Dash asked. "You want us to deal with a sick baby who has superpowers!" Violet yelled. "That's not what I meant!" Dash yelled.

Jack-Jack sneezed and flew up in the air. Violet screamed. "Quick! Catch him!" Dash yelled. "Do you not see me trying!?" Violet asked.

While Violet held her hands out, Dash ran as fast as he can and caught Jack-Jack. "I got him." Dash said. Then Jack-Jack turned into a metal baby. "Whoa!" Dash fell down.

"What is happening!?" Violet asked. "I think he caught Dad's cold. Now his powers are out of control!" Dash yelled. "We need to tell Mom." Violet said. "Are you crazy!? No! She said that we need to be in charge of Jack-Jack." Dash explained. "Yeah, but so far, that's not working out so well!" Violet yelled.

Jack-Jack coughed and started floating in the air and green lights came out. "Um Violet?" Dash asked. "What?" Violet asked. "Look!" Dash yelled.

"Okay. Fine. You're right." Violet said. "We need to tell Mom!" Dash yelled. "Fine. Call her." Violet said.

Elastigirl was looking for crimes. When she saw someone trying to rob a bank, she quickly went over to them. "Stop right there!" she yelled.

Then her phone rang. Elastigirl picked it up. "Hello?"

"Mom! We need your help!" Dash yelled. "Dash, honey, I'm in the middle of a job." Elastigirl said. "But Mom, Jack-Jack is…"

"Dash, you can tell me it later." Elastigirl hung up and started attacking the criminal.

"Looks like we're on our own." Violet said. "What!? Violet, I can't do this. We've always been in charge of Jack-Jack." Dash said. "Let's call Mom."

"Did you just call her?" Violet asked. "Oh. Lucius!" Dash yelled and he ran to the phone.

Edna and Lucius were hanging out together. "Look E, I didn't mean to come here alone." Frozone said. "It's no big deal darling. I like our visits. It's cool to see each superhero privately." Edna said.

Then the phone rang. "Who's that?" Frozone asked. "No idea." Edna got up and picked the phone up. "Hello?"

"Edna!" Violet yelled. "Who is this?" Edna asked. "This is Violet and Dash Parr." Violet answered. "Oh Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl's children." Edna said.

"Yes! We have an emergency!" Violet yelled. "What is it darling?" Edna asked. "Jack-Jack is sick and his powers are out of control!" Violet explained.

"Violet!" Dash yelled. "What?" Violet asked. "Mom said that we had to keep an eye on Jack-Jack." Dash said.

"Wait a minute. You wanted to call Lucius!" Violet yelled. "No I didn't!" Dash yelled. "Yes you did!" Violet screamed.

While Violet and Dash were arguing, Jack-Jack became on fire and started burning things. The smoke alarm went off.

Violet and Dash screamed. "Where's the fire extinguisher?" Violet asked. "Don't ask me. I don't know where it is." Dash said.

"This is horrible!" Violet yelled. "You're telling me. You're the one who blamed me with calling Lucius." Dash said.

"I'm not talking about that Dash! I'm talking about Jack-Jack! Look at this place! There's fire everywhere!" Violet yelled.

Then Dash quickly got the fire extinguisher. "Here you go." he said.

Violet stared at Dash. "Where was it?" she asked. "Oh it was in the living room." Dash said. "Are you kidding me!? You should have just gave it to me earlier!" Violet yelled. "Oops." Dash said.

Violet and Dash used the extinguisher on all the objects that were on fire. "Okay. Fire's out. Now to turn off the smoke alarm." Violet said as she grabbed Jack-Jack.

"Okay." Dash ran to the hallway and tried to reach the smoke detector. "Hey Violet, I can't reach the smoke alarm."

"I'm coming." Violet said. Jack-Jack sneezed and flew up into the air. "Right after I get Jack-Jack."

"What are you doing?" Dash asked. "I'm trying to catch Jack-Jack before he falls." Violet explained.

Violet caught Jack-Jack. "Got him! Okay. Now to shut the smoke alarm off." Violet went over to Dash and the two of them tried to turn the alarm off.

"We're too short!" Dash yelled. "Great." Violet said. She ran upstairs, took a broom, turned it around, and turned the smoke alarm off. "There."

"Thanks Violet." Dash said. Then Violet's phone beeped. "Oh no."

"What?"

"Mom's coming home."

"Good. Now we're gonna tell her." Dash said.

"Dash, this place is a mess because of Jack-Jack."

"I know."

"Well let's clean this place up."

Violet and Dash started cleaning up the entire place and hid all the things that Jack-Jack destroyed with his powers.

Elastigirl walked in and took her mask off. "Honey, kids, I'm home."

Dash gasped and put a blanket over the last destroyed object. Then he ran over to Violet and greeted his mother.

"Hi Mom." Dash said.

Helen looked at the house. "Wow. It's really neat here. I was expecting a huge mess." she said.

"Nope. All clear." Violet said in a nervous tone.

Helen walked over to Jack-Jack, who was asleep in his crib. "Aw. You got Jack-Jack for a nap."

The kids nodded.

"I'm so proud of you." Helen said and kissed Violet and Dash.

"Um, Mom, there's something we need to tell you." Dash said.

Helen looked at her kids in a stern way. "What?"

"Dash." Violet whispered.

"Don't worry. I got this." Dash said.

"What did you do?" Helen asked.

"Um, this place….really wasn't that clean when we watching Jack-Jack." Dash said.

"What happened?" Helen asked.

Violet started. "Well Jack-Jack got out of control and we couldn't catch up to him."

"Then he went too close to Dad and kind of caught his cold." Dash said.

"And that's how the place got destroyed." Violet said.

"So that's what really happened right?" Helen asked as she crossed her arms.

"Yeah. At least we cleaned everything up. Right Dash?" Violet asked.

"Yeah. Except for this." Dash took the blanket off the objects that were destroyed.

"You destroyed all these objects?" Helen asked.

"We didn't destroy them, Jack-Jack did." Violet said.

"With his powers." Dash added.

Helen looked Jack-Jack. "Okay. I'll let this slide today, but I'm telling your father."

"We're grounded aren't we?" Dash asked. "No, but this is a warning." Helen said. She walked upstairs.

When she got to her room, Helen opened the door. "Bob, you wouldn't believe what happened?"

"What happened?" he asked.

"Violet and Dash had to keep an eye on Jack-Jack and destroyed the whole place. There were fifteen objects that were broken." Helen explained.

"Fifteen?" Bob asked.

"Yeah." Helen said.

Dash ran upstairs. "But it was an accident."

Violet went over. "And it was caused by Jack-Jack's powers."

"Well you should have kept an eye on him. Like you were supposed to." Helen said.

"We know. We're sorry." Violet said.

"It's alright." Helen said.

"What about Lucius? Is he alright that I didn't join him at Edna's?" Bob asked.

"He said it was fine. Now I'm going to hang up my supersuit." Helen said and she walked away.

"So we're okay Mom?" Dash asked.

Helen nodded. "Yes, but next time, keep an eye on him."

Violet and Dash nodded.
