I was elated and overwhelmed
For you were a complete gentleman
It took me little to fall head over heels
As if in a moment
We were meant to be
I loved you

Nothing could break us
Or so I thought it would be
But the future we planned
We never got to live
Exuberant you had left
With a promise to return with a win
Only it was partially fulfilled
Because you didn't come back
As you had left me
I still remember your parting look
