This is a retelling of James and the Giant Peach, combining elements from the book, movie and musical, and will include an OC insert.

Prologue: Right before your Eyes
"Why, hello there, children of all ages!" The man (mind you, this man was no ordinary man. He was dressed like a stage magician, with his black tailcoat and top hat.) said as the children of the nursery school gather on the floor around the chair he was sitting in, "Are you ready to hear my story?"
"What's your name, sir?" One of the little boys asked.
"My name is Ladahlord." The man replied.
"What kind of story are we going to hear?" One of the little girls asked.
"Oh, it's a marvelous unbelievable story!" Ladahlord replied, "a story where so many remarkable and rather strange things happen, but I can tell you that everything is true, because I was there."
"You were?!" Asked one little girl, "How?"
"Well, you will just have to listen, won't you?"
The children nodded.
"Well, then I shall begin," Ladahlord said, taking off his hat and throwing dust in the air. The children watched in awe as as the dust swirled around them, creating white clouds of smoke.
Then an image appeared, of a boy no older than eight years old, he had mousy brown hair, and big blue eyes, and he wore a brown sweater vest over a short sleeve button down, black shorts, white knee high socks and black shoes.
"It all started with a boy."
