Because Nell Jones would make an awesome Gallagher Girl, don't you think?

"…Yes ma'am. Of course. I will get right on it and let you know as soon as possible. Thank you." Nell Jones hung up the phone and turned to her computer.

"What are you working on, Ms. Jones?" Nell nearly jumped when Hetty spoke.

"Oh, um…nothing," Nell hurriedly closed the window she had been working in.

"Are you sure? Because I don't usually get calls from agents who work for top-secret organizations." Hetty gave Nell a small smile.

"She called you?" Nell turned around to face the director of OSP.

"I'm your boss, so if you're working on something for an outside organization, even within the government, they have to let me know," Hetty said.

"Do you have the clearance to know?" asked Nell. "Not that I should have higher security clearance than you…but…"

"I know generalities, but not absolute specifics," Hetty replied. "And it's perfectly fine with me that you have higher security clearance than I do. If Agent Hanna or Agent Callen were to find out, however, you'd have a different situation on your hands." Pausing for a moment, she then added, "I am glad they've made a breakthrough in this case—a lot of people will be glad when the Circle has been eradicated."

"You make it sound like they're a case of polio or something." Nell cracked a smile. "But I, too, will be glad when they're gone."

"Well, I'll let you get back to your work, Ms. Jones," Hetty said after a moment of silence passed between them. "I hope you find them all."

"Me, too," Nell replied. "I feel like a superhero, working to defeat the ultimate evil."

Hetty smiled. "Good luck, Ms. Jones."

"Thank you, Hetty," Nell turned back to her computer, clicking around to try to complete her task. Several hours later, she finished the last search and grinned triumphantly. Picking up the phone to the securely encrypted line, she dialled a familiar number. "Mrs. Morgan? I've found them."

I don't know if this would actually happen. In case you didn't totally put the pieces together (I wanted to be a little bit vague on purpose) Rachel Morgan asked Nell (a former Gallagher Girl) to find some of the leaders of the Circle of Cavan. I've been thinking about a Gallagher Girls/NCIS:LA crossover for some time, and I think Nell Jones would make a good Gallagher Girl-research track, of course. :) Review please?
