"Come on Betty," Gio said holding out his hand. Betty rolled her eyes at him as she walked into the living room area of their apartment in a black floaty dress with little white hearts printed on it. Gio took a deep breath as he saw her. "You look gorgeous babe," he said looking her up and down. She blushed and pushed her glasses up her nose. He held out her jacket and ushered her out the door.
"Gio, where are we going?" Betty asked looking around at the busy streets in New York as they headed to their mystery destination. "Have a little faith, Suarez," he said slyly as he dragged her through the crowded streets, "only a little further to go anyways." He turned a corner and let Betty realise where they were. "Wicked!!!" she exclaimed as she turned to look at him. He nodded his head. "Yep, I ruined it the first time, so I figured I would make it up to you and this time I won't have to drag you in to the theatre," he said cockily, "shall we?" Betty rolled her eyes again and placed her hand in Gio's and followed him into the theatre.
"Gio, you really didn't have to do all of this for me," Betty said whilst smiling. Gio smiled back at her. "I probably shouldn't have done this either then," he said removing a jewellery box out of his pocket. He opened it to reveal and emerald green necklace in the shape of a B and earrings to match. She looked from the beautiful jewellery to the gorgeous man stood in front of her and smiled even brighter as she ran up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You are the best boyfriend in the world," she exclaimed. Gio smiled and hugged Betty tightly.
They found their seats and sat down to watch the show. "Two seconds, need to powder my nose," Betty said giggling slightly as she walked towards the toilet. When she came back she had a smug smile on her face. She sat down next to Gio and smiled at him as she pecked him on the cheek. They started to speak and Betty's phone rang. "Hilda, yeah sure, I'm at the theatre at the moment, do I have to? Fine!" Betty hung up and looked at Gio. "I have to go. Can you drive me home? Apparently someone is there determined they need to see me!" Betty said to Gio. He nodded his head and grabbed their coats and headed to the van.
Arriving at Betty's flat, they climbed the stairs and Betty opened the door. "Stephanie!" Betty exclaimed looking over at her cousin sat in the chair opposite. "Hey cous," she said smiling, "I'm on holiday from Australia with Uni." Stephanie looked over to the guy next to Betty. "Gio!" Stephanie exclaimed. Gio looked at Betty then at Stephanie. "Long time, no see," he said blushing and then looking at the floor. "Last time I saw you was when I was leaving your apartment about 3 years ago," Stephanie said. Betty looked at her cousin and then at Gio. "Gio, I think you should leave. You too, Stephanie. Gio, don't call me. You slept with my cousin and I don't think it'll work between us. I'm sorry," Betty said.
They left her apartment and Gio looked at Stephanie. "You never called me," he said to her. She looked at him apologetically. "How about I make it up to you?" she said with a wink as they walked out the building together.
