Disclaimer: Don't own , or Ronin Warriors. I realize people like to make Rowen abused by his father, but his dad really didn't and just worked a lot.
(song was here original at fan fiction now)
Rowen watched as he dad left for work… again. It seemed all his dad did now was work, he never saw his dad anymore.

Several days had passed since Rowen had tried to get his father to play a game with him. Now he had decided to try and make some money. 'Wouldn't it be great if my first sale was my dad?' he thought to himself and watched as the man who was his father walked to where he was standing. "Care to buy a glass dad?" he asked.
"Sorry Rowen, not now." He said and walked off.
The man never once looked back to see the pain he caused his son.

Mr. Hashiba never once looked back at his house after he left it. He always just went to work, and came home late at night after his son and wife went to bed and went to bed himself. It wasn't that he hated his family, it was just he wanted to provide everything for them.

Mr. Hashiba walked in after work one night. At 12:45 his wife was almost always asleep, but this night he saw her sitting up in bed crying.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"We made plans, remember?" she yelled at him.
"Plans? Oh yeah, I'm so sorry honey, but I couldn't get off from work."
"That's all you ever do anymore is work!" She cried, and collapsed on the bed.

He watched her cry herself to sleep. Each time a sob had shaken her body he felt like a knife cut into his heart. Once she was a sleep he kissed her forehead and brushed away her tears. After pulling the blanket up around her he left the room and went to see what his son was doing.

Walking into Rowen's room the man who would be his father stopped and stared at the blue haired figure under the covers. Realizing what he was doing to his family he fell to his knees and started to cry.

They had just finished packing up the car when the phone rang in the house.
"Don't get it dad." Rowen begged.
"I have to son." Mr. Hashiba said and went into the house to get the phone.
A few minutes later he came back outside.
"Well?" Rowen's mother asked.
"I told them I have something better than work to do."

All smiles the Hashiba family left for a weekend trip.
