"Step right, step left…then um…right, left…"

"Ouch, Roxas that's my foot!"

Roxas had learned a dance from Demyx and was trying to teach Xion in the abandoned park they had found. Xion had mentioned something about naming it, but it'd been brushed aside.

Axel chuckled from his seat at the bench. He gave Roxas credit for his enthusiasm, but he had the steps all wrong.

"Here, Roxas. Let me show you how it's done."

Roxas stepped back, letting Axel stand before Xion. He took Xion's small hands in his.

"First, you never ever step on the girl's feet, Roxas. That's just a general rule for guys." Axel gently toed Xion's foot into place. "Second, you lead. The girl follows. So if I step back, Xion you'll step forward and one-and-two-and-"

Slowly, they began sway more steadily. They were dancing, beautifully and in near perfect sync. Occasionally, Axel would give commands, counting off the timing before he'd twirl Xion this way and that.

Eventually Roxas wanted to learn.

Xion sat on the bench, and let Roxas try.

"Now, I'll do the girl's part. You lead, Roxas."

Xion watched them as Roxas tried to dance. She laughed at the sight of the two boys dancing with each other. They stopped.

"What is it?" Roxas asked.

"I think we should call this place, 'Amusement Park.'" She declared.

Roxas didn't get it, but Axel immediately sighed and shook his head with a small smile.

"Seeing you guys dancing together is amusing!"

I have written a sort of sequel for this in my story A Hundred of Her Memories chapter 42 - Amusement Park. Read if you want. They go well together. :)
