Ziva approached her apartment, pulled her keys out of her pocket, and went to unlock the door. She had just landed in D.C. after her father's funeral and she was exhausted mentally and physically. Tony had told her before she left that she was not alone. Too bad she had never felt more alone. She had missed Jackie Vance's funeral which she felt bad about. The Vance's had been so nice to her through everything. She was planning on visiting the gravesite she just had to rest and remember what flowers were Jackie's favorites. She placed her key in the hole only to realize the door was already unlocked.

"That's weird." Ziva thought.

She opened the door, entered and went to find her gun. Only to realize she didn't sense any danger in fact she felt this strange feeling she hadn't felt since Talia died. She tried to think what the feeling was and realized it was homey she felt like she had a home. She was also overpowered by this wonderful smell. Someone was cooking something. She tossed her jacket sloppily on the couch and walked into the kitchen to investigate. She was surprised but not that much to see Tony standing by the stove.

"Oh you're home." Tony said.

"Yes I caught an earlier flight. I just wanted to be home." Ziva replied.

"You were home." Tony replied.

"No America is my home now. Here in D.C. with you and Gibbs, McGee, Abby, Ducky, Jimmy and Vance." Ziva replied.

"Well I'm not complaining I missed you like crazy and Probie isn't near as much fun as you." Tony replied.

"Timmy can be fun." Ziva argued.

"Not in the way you are." Tony replied winking.

"Don't let Gibbs hear that." Ziva replied giggling.

"Rule 12 is suspended for us and McAbby." Tony replied.

"McAbby?" Ziva asked.

"McGee and Abby" Tony explained.

"Oh" Ziva replied.

"Speaking of which everybody else is coming over in a couple hours. So how about you go and have a nice shower or take a nap or both." Tony replied.

"Thanks I think I'll take a nap and see about a shower if I have time." Ziva replied.

"Alright I'll be quiet." Tony replied as Ziva left the room.

She returned a few seconds later. "Why are you here so early and cooking? You never cook?" Ziva asked.

"Like I said at lo levad." Tony replied.

Ziva smiled and went off to get some sleep and for the first time since her Abba died she actually slept. She really was not alone, she never was, and she never would be.
