Applejack has always been a brave, faithful and strong willed type of pony.But when sent in to a city where everyone is infected with corruption, she learns to appreciate her life, whale she try's to avoid it being taken away from her.

Chapter 1

One day in ponyville, applejack, twilight, rainbow dash and spike where in twilight's cottage anxiously waiting for a letter to arrive from Princess Celestia . " So what do you think Celestia want us for anyways?" said rainbow dash. "Yah, why us in particular" said applejack. " I don't know yet," said twilight "but whatever it is, she said it required a lot of bravery." " Well she's got just the right pony right here!" said rainbow dash excitedly. "Excuse me! How do you know I'm not the one going on this 'mysterious quest'" said applejack angrily. " Oh, come on applejack , your brave an and all, but your not …. Well , you know, me" said rainbow dash smugly. Applejack simply rolled her eyes. She knew how rainbow dash could be. Still, she was her closest and dearest friend, so she decided to let it slide. Spike burped up a letter , witch twilight grabbed using her. She read aloud :

Dear Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash, I require your urgent assistance. My sources tell me that an alternant version of discord from a separate dimension is close to breaking a barrier and reeking chaos upon our own . I need a pony with bravery that can stay calm and collective under extreme pressure. That's why I want Applejack to go into the portal between the two dimensions so she can find out what is going on and try to fix it. Enclosed is the spell you will need to open the portal, and an amulet that will teleport her out at anytime. If she has not returned within 24 hours, I want rainbow dash to go in after her. Twilight, you must not, under ANY curomstances , go in after her. You will understand when the time comes. I wish you all the best of luck,

"APPLEJACK! WHAT DO YA MEAN APPLEJACK!" rainbow dash yelled. Applejack had a smug look on her with a devious smile. "What are you smiling at ?" rainbow dash said angrily. "Oh, nothin' " Applejack said in a snarky voice. "Girls, knock it off" Twilight said annoyed. " lets just get this done." Twilight resisted the spell, and with a lot of effort, a dreary looking grey portal opened. "Ya know Dash, on second thought, maybe I'll let you do this." said Applejack. " Hey Celestia wanted you to do it but if your too chicken-" "I aint a chicken! Twilight, give me that amulet, I'm goin' in" Twilight placed the amulet around her neck and she trotted off into the mysterious darkness.
