Prologue:

A small snake, only about 4 inches, and a dark emerald color, slithered through the plush carpeting, leaving a trail of sea foam green ooze. Its eyes were completely black, with no light reflecting off them. They looked like two tiny blocks a charcoal. The snake smiled a sly grin, inching towards the bed. Once it got within reach it leaped onto the bed frame, stopping the trail of goo at a dead end. It crawled up the mattress and onto the bed spread, staining it with its disgusting slime. The human was sprawled out on the bed, probably went to sleep with a hangover, judging from the position it slept at. The tiny snake slithered into its ear. The person automatically sat up and said one word
"obliterate".

3rd person POV:

Rose got up at the break of dawn, with a smile on her face spreading all the way to her eyes. She dialed Mickey and asked him if he wanted to have brunch with her before she went on another trip. Mickey hesitated as if wanting to tell her to stay, but instead he just muttered "sure, make sure to stay safe". "of course" rose laughed over the phone, and Mickey rolled his eyes "bye I love you". "love you too" said rose and she hanged up. She went to her closet, stretched, and picked out a hoodie with the British flag on it and jeans.

When she got outside little flecks of snow stuck to her eyelashes and tickled her nose. It was bitter cold and her face was red. She put her scarlet mittens into her pull-over sweater's pockets and wished where ever she went that after-noon, that it was warm.

Once she reached the Café where she would be meeting Mickey she wiped her crimson boots onto the mat and stepped inside. It was comfy and had dim lanterns hanging from the ceiling, setting a rather dreamy feel to the room. The walls were painted a dark red, and the lanterns were white. The floor of the café had white tile, and the cashier was holding his head in his hands. There were seats and booths in the café and as she scanned over it, she spotted mickey in a booth to the left. She walked over to him with a smile and set her bag down. Mickey complimented her, she thanked him and soon they were in a smooth, non-fighting (for once), conversation.

When Mickey paid the waitress she kissed him softly, whispered her thanks, grasped his hand, and walked with him out the door. Mickey didn't want Rose to go. He loved everything about her. Well, almost everything. Her hair, her eyes, her scent, her smile, her laugh, her curiosity, her bravery, and how adventurous she is. But this adventure always makes her leave; and that's the one thing he doesn't like. She's always leaving him for "The Doctor". He wished she would stay, or he was brave enough to tag along. But that was her and the doctor's adventure, not his. Rose's voice interrupted his thoughts. "Is something wrong?" He was caught off guard but tried to put on a casual face. "yeah just thinking". Rose looked worried "you don't want me to go, do you?". Mickey hesitated, but he just wanted her to be happy, but why couldn't she be happy with him? He sighed "no, you go off with The Doctor, just stay safe". Rose places a soft kiss on his lips, then said a gentle "good bye", and ran off to the Doctor.
