Greatness

Author's Note:

Hey Guys! It is me again! This was a quoto write (I had to write about a quote for school) and decided to turn it into fan fiction. My teacher did say: "write anything about the quote." So I did. I hope you enjoy. Please review. :)

"Don't wait for the world to

recognize your greatness,

live it and let the world catch up to you."

Hermione was great. Hermione could do things, for she was capable of amazing things. Yes, she had the basic skills of a good witch. She could read, write, map out the stars, brew simple potions, identify magical herbs, and was very practiced in Arithmancy and Transfiguration. But, what the rest of the world didn't know, was that she could do so much more. She had plans. Great plans. Her plans consisted of freeing all the House Elves, giving Centaurs more legal rights, and rounding up the remaining Death Eaters with her best friend Harry Potter, and new husband, Ronald Weasley. She could do these things for the Wizarding World and so much more. She was great. Yet, she was tired of the fact that nobody saw it but two people, the faithful friends she really didn't need help from. Nobody recognized her value. So, one day, she marched into the Ministry of Magic, taking her risks, and demanded her place in hierarchy. She proposed her ideas with much confidence. To her surprise, Kingsley Shacklebolt, the Minister of Magic, accepted. She was given her own office, and after a couple of years, was valuable enough to write her own laws, with approval of course. Now, at the age of twenty-six, carrying her six-month along unborn child, she stood a-top the podium, ready to give up her position. She'd still work, she just wouldn't be the boss of the Department of the Rights and Freedoms of Magical Creatures any more. In her speech to the public of her resigning, she mentioned many things about why she had loved her career, but she would need to focus on her child and be a mom now. Yet, she made sure to mention, "Don't wait for the world to recognize your greatness, live it and let the world catch up to you."

I know, very short and horribly written but he only gave us 8 minutes to right it. I just wanted to know how I did and put something out there for you! Thanks for the support!
