It was cold . darkness with flashing green lights every couple of seconds , the floor was wet and everything was spinning rattling and then it just stopped . everything stopped moving and sun light appeared and so did little heads and faces . Boys all of them . I heard them talking but my eyelids were to heavy to even try to pry open . ' It's a girl .' one said and then everything stopped .
When I slowly opened my eyes I saw someone in front of me putting a wet cloth to my forehead another boy stood at the entraces with his arms folded staring at me . ' Where am I ' I asked the boy at the door said ' You my friend are in the glade ' . ' Whats the glade ? ' I asked sitting up ' woah maybe you should just sit down you only came up a couple of hours ago most stay in bed until they have been here a day ' the boy with what I will say is the best accent said . ' I think I will be okay , so can you please explain to me where I am and why I am here ' I said irritated by the fact nobody would answer my question correctly . ' its called the glade , we all where brought up here in the same lift you were , someone gets sent up every month , but you are something different from us .' the accented boy said . ' well … what am I that nobody else here is ' I said . ' A girl ' . ' are you kidding me I am the only girl .' I said shaking . ' yeah , some of us have been here for god knows how long and not once have we ever had a girl come up , this glade is at the center of the maze , we send out runners everyday to try and find a way out but we haven't quite got there yet , so for now we are trapped in here , Oh and im Newt by the way and he is Thomas you should get some rest you will remember your name soon but nothing else okay .' Newt explained ' yeah I get it ' I replied curling up into a ball on the bed and just as the both turned there back , ' Olivia ' I said . ' what ? ' Thomas asked ' that's my name ' I said feeling joyous , finally a sense or personality . ' well them Olly get some rest ' newt said clearly happy for me .
I woke in a cold sweat newt was standing next to me trying to calm me down . ' hey your okay its just a dream everything's okay now ' Newt said calmly . ' Sorry , im fine honestly .' I said really just wanted him to leave , I felt so stupid and exposed .
When I woke up the next morning alby was standing at the entrance to the room , ' Heard you had a ruff night .' he said , ' don't worry about It most people do something like that there first night here , I think newt wants to speak to you , he should be at the gardens , maybe you should go speak to him.' I got up from bed put on the pile of clothes that where next to the bed , I wandered around looking for the gardens , I ended up standing in front of the gates to the maze . Why could no one get us out of here I mean , I just want out but for know I know that I just have to stay positive . ' its scary looking isn't it ' newt said , I wondered how long he had been standing there , ' you really scared me last night , I was sleeping and woke up to the most horrible screaming and I ran into your hut and saw you there almost at war with yourself , It was horrible ' . did newt like me ? I seemed that way , and im not going to deny he is really good looking but I wonder if he liked me like I sort of liked him . I dismissed the thoughts and simply apologised . ' do you want me to take you on a tour of the glade , its usually albys job but I convinced him to let me do it . ' newt said . ' yeah id love that
