Hello! Fix-It Felix Jr. here! So this is my first story...but my wife has no idea that I am starting without her so keep it a secret. Although I'm sure that she won't mind anyway. I just want her to find out on her own :3 Jaminy, I think that I'm gettin' better at using newer computers than I thought. Enjoy the story!

Also, this is set in normal POV so this'll be kinda hard to keep up with. But I'll try my hardest to make no mistakes...try. Aw I'm rambling again...Please enjoy.

BOOM!

The thunder roared from outside of the arcade. Felix gasped and bolted upright in bed. He looked to his right hoping to see that his wife would be sleeping soundly next to him.

She wasn't there.

Felix sighed. "That's right...she had a perimeter check tonight."

Tamora had reminded him that morning that she had a perimeter check and she wasn't about to have her soldiers ruin everything again like the last time she left them alone to do it. Let's just say that she came home very upset and tired.

Felix got out of bed and rubbed his eyes. He looked at the clock on the nightstand and saw that it was only twelve o'clock.

"I've gotta go back to sleep." He muttered.

Even though the arcade was closed tomorrow, Felix still had plans to spend the day with Tammy. So he laid his head back onto the pillow and pulled the covers over his shoulders.

BOOOOM!

Once again the thunder shook the arcade. This time, lightning struck the ground outside; lighting up the barley lit family fun center.

Felix started to tremble slightly. But he decided to shake it off again. Well, he tried to. "Just pretend that Tammy's here. Just pretend that Tammy's here. Just pretend that Tammy's here." He kept on repeating to himself in the hopes that it would help him out with his small dilemma. It did...for a little while at least...

As soon as he started to fall back to sleep, he was disrupted once again by the loud clap of thunder that made him literally jump out of bed.

"I need Tammy!" Felix cried out. He then slipped his shoes on and pulled a dark blue jacket over his head. As he opened the door he placed his hat on his head and shoved his hammer into the pocket and slammed the front door shut.

He pulled out the small cruiser that Tamora gave to him and sped off to Hero's Duty.

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK

Tamora's head snapped up at the sound of someone rapidly knocking on the door.

She walked got up and walked over to the door of her office. When she opened it she was instantly pushed aside and almost fell over. "Felix...?"

"Tammy, I'm so sorry for interrupting your work but I was in bed and the thunder scared me and I don't want to be alone..." All of it came out in a rush. Tamora smiled. "Aw, aren't you sweet."

She picked Felix up and carried him to her desk. Once she got settled in her chair, Felix snuggled up close to her.

"You're sweet, Fix-It. But I was almost done with this paperwork and about to come home."

Felix shrugged and kissed her cheek. "I got scared."

Tamora chuckled. "I love you..."

"I love you too." Felix said as he yawned and fell asleep. Tamora sighed and held him tighter.

BOOM!

Well, I think that this wasn't all that bad...what about you guys? And the real funny thing is that this is a true story. It actually happened last night...

Oh no...Tammy's home. I gotta go! Thank you for reading my first story.
