Doom swarmed Kureno.

He wasn't exactly sure how he had gotten himself into this situation in the first place.

Then again, he didn't expect Akito to have ditched him with the dog.

At a place with only chicken.

Yes, his curse has broken years ago but still...he didn't expect to eat chicken after being the year of the rooster and all.....

The two of them stood there in line.

Shigure had a huge grin on his face, knowing exectly how Kureno had felt, and was enjoying the moment.

Kureno stood there with an uneasy look on his face.

"So, Kureno, as my treat I will be paying for the meal! Do not fret about the bill, I encourage you to eat as much as you can! In fact, eat more than you ever intended to! We can really get to know each other more over this time together!", Shigure cheered, pushing Kureno towards the cashier.

Damn Akito. Damn him. Damn her. Damn her lack of health, even though I'm pretty sure she intended to get sick....,Kureno thought to himself.

Kureno looked up at the menu, even feeling more uncormfortable than before, if that was even possible.

Shigure continued to smile, wanting to take this day into his memory forever.

"Uh...uh...I'll have a salad...", Kureno said, trying to say it loud enought for the worker but quiet enough for Shigure not to hear.

Too bad this just wasn't Kureno's day.

"How awful! Do you except me to let you get away with just eating a small salad? You must be hungry! I told you money wasn't a problem and too eat more than you have ever eaten before!", Shigure said amusingly, "Or do you eant me to order for you???"

Kureno wanted to slap the dog.

He turned back around to look at the menu again.

"Fine", he said through gritted teeth, "I'll have a number 3 with a coke."

Then he stepped away and gave Shigure the ultimate death glare.

Once they had paid and recieved their food, they sat down silently.

Shigure waited a few seconds before talking.

"Is there something wrong with the food?? Did you want to order more??", he said tauntingly.

Kureno glared at him.

"How about some dog? I can get some lovley dog sandwhiches from across the world. I know how some tribes love to eat little burnt puppies".

Shigure had expected a comeback like this.

"Oh, I think thats illegal though. I'm pretty sure you aren't looking foward to jail...", Shigurewhine "I'm not sure what they do to little fragile birds in jail. I'm also pretty sure you wouldn't last long. Plus, I'm shocked of how you could even sugest such a horrid thing!"

By this time Kureno was ignoring every word that came out of the dog's mouth.

He started picking up the chicken burger very carefully untill....

BAM!!!

Shigure had nearly jumped across the table and knocked Kureno's hand up, causing the chicken to be shoved into his mouth.

So there were the two men.

Shigure forcing Kureno to eat the food.

Kureno choking on his own kind.

At that moment Akito returned.

She stared at them for a moment, watching them wrestle over some stupid food.

"Damn idiots", she mumbled to herself as she walked over to them.

By this time Shigure had come up with a new song:

Cannibal! Cannibal! Kureno Sohma is a cannibal!!!

CANNIBAL CANNIBAL CANNIBAL CANNIBAL CANNIBAL!!!!

This caused every other customer to look over at the three of them.

Akito shoved the guys apart before someone thought of calling the police.

She slapped them both.

"I leave you guys alone for ten minutes and Shigure startes a fight and Kureno becomes a cannibal!!", she shouts, "you are both complete IDIOTS!!!"

And with that she pulled them away.

Agggg, this exactly wasn't they way I was going to end it, but writers block came up. WAAHHH!!!

The story originally was going to be with Arisa and Kureno on a date, but I thought Shigure's teasing would be amusing.

Plus it's hard writing a story during History class.

And this is my first fanfic to publish.
