Bickering
"I like you." His voice was firm, truthful.
"A-and I don't l-like you." She wasn't looking at him, paying more attention to the homework in front of her.
"And why is that?" not totally curious, more mildly bored.
"Y-you're mean." It was stated as a fact.
"Well, you're being mean to me right now." His defense.
"S-so?" her defense.
"So? Mean people belong together." His crazy logic.
"R-really now…? And wh-why is that?" she sounded curious, but still didn't look up.
"Because I say so." Arrogant words. Nothing he wouldn't usually say.
"You a-are intolerable." Another fact.
"Is that you agreeing?" he knew she wasn't.
"N-no, that is m-me expressing m-more reasons as to w-why I have no i-interest in you." Harsh, yes, but it was amusing to hear his fingers tap against the wood in mild frustration.
"No interest? That's harsh, I'm sure you have a mild interest." It was a retort.
"I'm sure th-that if you don't l-leave me alone I-I'll… never s-speak to y-you again." She hid her small smile.
"'Never speak to me again'? Isn't that a little, I don't know, childish?" he caught the grin regardless.
"Sh-shut up!" her face lit up with color.
He brushed his hand against her cheek, "No, I'd much rather tease you."
She flushed yet another brilliant color of pink and scowled playfully at him, "You're cr-cruel…"
Leaning forward, he planted a small chaste kiss on her lips, "You're just now realizing that…?"
She nodded vaguely in return, a smile tugging on her lips, "H-hai… bu-but I still… l-like you."
"Only like?"
"S-Sasuke!"
