Madaline Stratford stepped down from the small car and onto the crowded port. Behind her, Emmaline Stratford and MaryLynne Stratford followed. Madaline's bright emerald eyes roamed the lots of peoplle and the huge boat that sat in the water in front of her. The paint looked fresh as the name read, 'Titanic'. The sight of the glorious ship, took her breath away. Around her, men, women, and children ran this way and that, going through third class inspections or hefting luggage towards the boarding bridges to aboard the ship. "Oh my! Such a disgrace with these third class vermits scurrying about! Do take care girls to not touch them." Madaline's mother, Serena Stratford whined, as her father Charles Stratford, handed her out of the vehicle. MaryLynne sniffed in approval as she accepted her fiance's arm, Peter Jones. "Charles, dear would you fetch my coat?" Mrs. Stratford asked. Charles groaned and grabbed her coat. "Emmaline and Madaline! Stay close." Their mother called as they began to walk towards the first class bridge. Madaline sighed and had no choice to follow her sisters and mother.

Leo Carpenter took a deep breath of the fresh ocean air as his sister panted in her long dress beside him. "Leo, where do we board?" She asked in her voice that sounded as if she was ten instead of sixteen. Her big grey eyes were wide in curiousity as people scurried about them. "It's so...gigantic! Like it was built for a king and his queen!" Cora said as her hands wrung her hankerchief. Leo smiled and picked up her bags. "For Her majesty Cora, I pressume. A fine vessel for the most beautiful girl in the world." Leo smiled again and patted Cora's nervous hand. He turned to a nearby officer. "My good man, where should we board?" "Why, depends on that class ticket you are sir." The officer repled as he stared at Leo and frowned. "Third class boards down there after you make it through inspection." The officer then pointed out Leo laughed hard as Cora smiled shyly beside him. " You think, just because I do not wear fine silks and a top hat, it makes me third class?" Leo asked once his laughter subsided. Cora then showed the officer their first class tickets. The young officer began to blush and stuttered out an apology. "Thank you kind sir. Now if you will excuse us." Leo spat and hurried Cora along towards the boarding bridge. As they waited to board, Leo looked down on his tan trousers and suspenders, scuffed leather shoes, and cotton long-sleeved shirt compared to Cora's midnight blue fitting long dress and absured hat and couldn't help, but chuckle quietly to himself.

"Sarah! Come bring my silks to me!" Emmaline called to their maid as Madaline hung her last dress in her large wooden wardrobe. She sat down on the bed and watched her older sister pick through her assortments of finery. "Oh Maddie, I'm so excited to leave. Would you like to accompany me to the deck when we depart?" She asked. Maddie smiled silently and shook her head yes. "We must see to it that you are dressed properly. It's time for you to meet fine buisness men and bankers." Emmaline said as she pawed through Maddie's assorted gowns. What was the point of getting dressed up if her sister was here, she thought to herself as she looked at her beautiful sister standing before her. Emmaline's fine blonde hair was silky straight down her straight back that went so good with her navy blue eyes. Her white smile was framed by soft pink lips that could pass for rosepetals. She had all her curves and wasn't tall like Maddie who had long legs and arms. Emmaline looked like a true American beauty while Maddie wasn't sure what she was and who she was suppose to be. Maddie had gotten the Stratford looks with her wavy brunette hair and jade eyes set in an ivory complextion. Being sixteen ment that she was still growing into her body and curves. Maddie was the average beauty compared to Emmaline's goddess looks.
