Kagome's POV
The gourmet meal in front of my eyes stunned my insides. Spaghetti and meatballs. If this dish was not romantic then I had no clue what was. I glanced over at Megumi, who was enjoying the meal (with spaghetti sauce dripping down her face), and noticed that it was pass her bedtime. I politely excused myself from the dinner table (I did not want to ruin the mood) and scurried over to Megumi. As I carefully picked her up from her high char Inuyasha said, "Don't forget there's more later." I swear I could hear the smirk gluing to his face as I blushed and hurried away.
Swiftly I completed the task of changing the baby and humming her to sleep. I was grateful Megumi was a special child who understood the meaning of falling asleep with no complaints (usually). As I exited the room, I spotted Sango leaving the room where she put Shippo down for the night. We both exchanged the 'you better tell me everything later' look and both retreated back to our dates.
As I entered the deck, Inuyasha disappeared. Panic hit my system. How could my date leave me? Was I not pretty enough? Was I boring? So many questions were circling around in my mind then I heard my name screamed from the distance. I glance out to the quiet ocean and spotted Inuyasha waving his hands in the air like an excited five year old. I small sigh escaped my lips.
When I reached my destination to where Inuyasha was, a pack of giggles blurted out of lips as I watched him draw a heart with our names in the sand. Such a romantic. Trying to be as sneaky as I could I tiptoe directly behind Inuyasha. Right as I was ready to scary the living heck out of him, he turns around and gives me that smile I melt to each time I see.
My breath hitches in my throat when he kisses my hand (as a gentleman should) and doesn't let go as he drags me closer to the ocean. We stop at the shore. Just as I was about to question, his mentality of doing this he wraps his arms around my waist and rests his chin on my shoulder. I could hear his heart beat against my back. His warm breath tickles my neck after each exhale.
Love? Was this how I felt at this moment? I already confirmed that I liked Inuyasha a lot, but being like this changes my perspective much more than I wanted to admit. There was no denying it now.
I am in love with Inuyasha.
Sorry this is such a short chapter I just wanted you all to get a feel of my writing, so if you have any concerns or critics don't be afraid to tell me. This is my first time ever continuing someone else's story, so please don't go crazy if it is not exactly like Music High Part 1. However, I would like to say thank you for reading/continuing the story plot here. Music High Part 1 was one of my favorite stories on FanFiction and was extremely sad to see her end it, but I am honored to continue the story. Anyway if you have any ideas shoot them my way by messaging me or reviewing! I'm hoping next update won't take as long!
