Preface

I was starting to get worried now. Where was Alice? It never took this long for her to arrive. After all, she told me to come here. She had told me that there was something I needed to know. What would I need to know? I paled suddenly. I remembered all the visions she had had. Was something bad going to happen to me, or her? I wasn't sure I wanted to know what she had to say. "Alice!" I yelled. "Alice!" Where was she? With racing heart I ran toward the Brandon home.
