Quote Part 5

This Fic is for my friend FelipeMarcusThomas who sudjested that I write a fallow up of "Silence is Golden".

Story created from the quote: There is no revenge so complete as forgiveness.

Edmund was so dead.

He could only imagine Lucy's smirk as he was running around Cair just in his sckin looking for his cloths or tripping and falling at the feet of one of the Dukes of Archenland or sputtering out his salt flavored red wine on to Susan's pure white evening gown (you do not want to see Susan when one of her dresses is ruined).

Ah, yes. He could see it now, sitting across from her in the library where their tutor had left them with an arm load of books to study for the next exams. He could just see wheals in her head turning and something clicks in the back of her eyes.

He was just reaching out to grab a paper to pen down his will when her voice startles him.

"Ed, I forgive you."

"… What?" Edmund asks, dumb founded.

Lucy roles her eyes. "For taping my mouth and wrists. I forgive you for that."

"Why? Last I checked, you were pretty ticked off."

"Oh don't get me wrong! I was ticked. Actually I was thinking about putting itchy pouter in your under clothing for the next counsel meeting."

Edmund gulps

Lucy *chuggles. "But like I said, I for give you. Because of that, I won't do any thing to you."

"So let me get this strait. You thought about humiliating me in front of all the nobles in Narnia, two Dukes from Archenland and a Senator from Colarmen, but decided not to because you thought forgiveness was better?... That's not human! I mean, the natural human tendency would be to have a cruel and mean revenge. There is no way-"

"Edmund! Don't make me put itchy pouter in your under cloths!"

"Fine, sorry, sorry." Edmund waves his hand in surrender.

* I put chuggle (no, it wasn't a word until I thought of it) in there because have you ever noticed that when a guy chuckles or a girl giggles it kind of sounds the same? Well, I decided that instead of saying Lucy giggles or Thomas chuckles or something like that, I'd just combine the two and say that they chuggled. Walla! Now you know why I wrote chuggle in the story!
