This is my first attempt at writing A-Team Fanfiction. I am old enough to have watched the series when it aired on TV and I absolutely loved the movie. My favorite character is of course, Murdock. I am a huge Sharlto Copley fan as well. Hope you like the fic, tell me what ya think! Be nice...it's my first time. :)
Rules for Capturing Murdock 101
PG-13/MovieVerse!
Murdock, Sosa, Face, OCs
Face didn't have to hear the ring tone to know that Sosa was calling. It was just a feeling he had.
"Hey baby, what's up?"
"We've got your teammate surrounded."
"Which teammate?" Face smirked, looking at BA and Hannibal playing cards at the little table in the corner of the hotel room.
"Captain Murdock."
"Ah, Captain Murdock."
"You don't seem surprised."
Face shook his head and smiled. He'd sent Murdock on an errand to grab some take-out only after Murdock insisted that he was a big boy and could get it by himself.
"Well, no. But, I think you might be the one who's surprised."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
By that time, Sosa's men had in fact, surrounded Murdock who was in a ninja mode.
"Okay, how many men have you got there?"
"Three agents, plus me."
"Okay, there are three rules to live by when trying to catch Murdock."
Sosa was losing patience with the whole situation. She'd spotted Murdock leaving the small Chinese restaurant on the corner, followed him as he walked into the tall bank building and finally had him surrounded as he exited the elevator on the top floor of the building. He'd probably led them on this goose chase in thinking they'd give up and stop following him eventually. Why she'd called Face with this information, she'd never know.
"Okay, what exactly are the rules to live by when trying to capture Murdock?"
"Number one...don't sneak up behind him. He will headbutt you and break your nose."
Just then Sosa heard a sickening crunch as one of her men went down clutching his nose.
"Crap."
"Number two...don't try and handcuff him, he'll bite the hell out of you."
Sosa heard one of the men cry out, clutching his hand to staunch the flow of blood.
Sosa sighed.
"Okay, what's number three?"
Sosa heard the last man yell "Stop!" and saw him running toward Murdock who'd tied a fire hose around his torso and leapt off the building, clutching the bag full of take-out.
"Well, about number three...Murdock has watched Die Hard at least 23 times."
Sosa hung up on Face, looked over at her fallen compadres and sighed as she heard glass shattering and then watched the hose go slack.
30 minutes later...
Face smiled as Murdock entered the small hotel room, clutching a ragged bag of Chinese take-out.
"Hey Facey! Got grub!"
"Hey buddy, how was the trip?"
"Not too bad. Not too much excitement."
Face flipped the channels on the TV remote.
"There's a Bruce Willis marathon on if you're interested.
"Awesome! Thanks Facey. I'll be right back! I'm gonna go brush the blood outta my teeth."
The End.
