~Greykit's POV~
Greykit pounced on Sparrowkit, Sparrowkit let out a yelp as he was pinned down by the grey furred, blue eyed tom-kit. "Greykit! Mom! Greykit pinned me again!" Sparrowkit wailed as his brother climbed off, "You're no fun!" Greykit mewed. "Yeah, yeah," Sparrowkit mewed, "Let's go play, Greykit!" Sparrowkit bounded off, not waiting for an answer. Greykit was about to go when he heard a wail. Someone needs help! Thought Greykit as he saw Autumnkit getting attacked by Coalkit and Smokekit, the two biggest kits in the nursery. Swiftbreeze didn't notice anything and went to nuzzle Autumnkit's father, Emberflame. "Hey! Back off! Don't touch her!" Greykit yowled as he attacked those two, sending them running. "T-t-thanks, Greykit." Stuttered the beautiful golden brown she-kit. "No problem." Greykit felt his fur grow red. "Greykit, Sparrowkit, time to get ready! You'll be apprentices today!" Heronwing called to her kits. "Ok!" Greykit and Sparrowkit bounded up to his mother.
~During the apprentice ceremony, Greykit (paw)'s POV~
"Autumnkit, Greykit, Sparrowkit, Coalkit and Smokekit. Until you get your warrior names you'll be Autumnpaw, Greypaw, Sparrowpaw, Coalpaw and Smokepaw. Autumnpaw, your mentor is Robinwing, Greypaw, your mentor is Emberflame, Sparrowpaw, your mentor is Softcloud, Coalpaw, your mentor is Birdsong and Smokepaw your mentor is Bushfur." Yowled Spottedstar. "Autumnpaw! Greypaw! Sparrowpaw! Coalpaw! Smokepaw!" their clanmates yowled. Greypaw stared into Silverpelt, StarClan, thank you for everything! He purred silently. He and the rest of the apprentices dashed into the apprentices den, going to sleep. Autumnpaw curled up beside him, resting her tail tip on her muzzle. The rest of the apprentices curled up, Greypaw curled up beside her and fell asleep, dreaming sweet dreams. DawnClan, I am a DawnClan apprentice!
