Ch.1 – unsettling occurances
"Alright furball, patch me up." A gruff, well-built man with short black hair wearing a black leather outfit walks in and sits on the table.
"I'm not a furball." A feminine voice reaches his ears. He's immediately up and in a fighting stance, a pair of sharp metal claws extruding from his hands as he turns to face the unknown speaker, a snarl escaping his lips. But to his astonishment, instead of freaking out and trying to run or attacking, the girl starts laughing. "I haven't heard a sound like that in a long time. You must be Wolverine, tell me, what is your real name?"
The man just stands there observing her for a few minutes. The girl in front of him looked like an angel. She had long silky black hair and deep brown eyes, her curves only showed slightly under the big lab coat and he wondered slightly what she would look like underneath the garment. Her mutation was clear as two soft ears stood on her head and a tail flicked back and forth behind her, this confused him a bit. "Who are you and what are you doing in the medical ward girl?"
"Kagome." She answered flatly, turning away from him.
"Where are you going girl?"
"Kagome." She growled, the sound impressive from a female.
"Girl –" SMACK! The sound echoed through the room as the man lifted a hand to the red print on his cheek.
"Kagome. My name is Kagome. Use it or get out."
