It looks short but read it all and all the other chapters you will thank me!
Something dark and mysterious raced through the dark of the Forest Feralajin. The dark creature raced to the edge of the forest. It stood there silently for a few seconds listening intently. Finally he heard the sound he was looking for. At that he dashed back into the woods hoping nothing had seen him. As the creature raced through the woods it made not a sound for it was not very wary to attract the attention of the predators of the night. When the creature came to a giant pasture in the middle of the forest it stopped and stood on its back legs. The creature sniffed and looked around the clearing as if looking restlessly for something that was incredibly important to him. Or maybe he was looking to see if anyone or anything was there. Either way the creature lowered back onto all four legs and loped towards a moonlit beam of light. When it stepped into it was revealed to be a creature of immense power, wisdom, and spirit. A Blue Dragon. The dragon was 20ft. long with talons and a long whip-like tail with a sharp barb at the end. Then the dragon once again lifted itself up on its hind legs. When it did the rear end seemed to adapt to standing up. The dragon looked around again, then started a strange and mysterious transformation. the dragon's body twisted and turned and shortened. the snout shrunk into the face, the claws shrank into finger nails, the tail shortened into the body. After a while, when the transformation was complete, the dragon now stood there in his other form. A human 12-year old boy. The boy looked around the clearing once again then jumped in one leap to the top of a tall oak. And settled in a fork in the branches. Then he waited.
I know this chapter is short, boring and frankly a little creepy but it gets much better trust me. i've already written the rest of the book and am typing it right now. I'd be very happy if you keep reding and post comments on how I culd make this story better. Thanks, Skyward Dragon
