A/N I just kind of felt like writing this. First HP fanfic so yay for me so let me know what you think and enjoy. Fortunately for all of us, I don't own the Wizardling World so if everyone can abstain fro suing that would be apritiated.
Somtimes she belived him,for just a single fleeting moment, she believed him. Since 5th year him asking her out had become, much to her dismay, a daily occurrence. Despite his complete lack of tact and consideration, she had to admire his presistance. Most of the times, he didn't mean it and his words were filled with emptiness. Most of the times, saying no came as naturally as breathing. But sometimes, on a blue moon, she looked into his eyes and saw something else. It made her afraid and confused because she knew it was more real than it ought to be, more real than what she was ready for. So she did what she always did: she called him an arrogant bully, a self-centred git with a head too big for his own good. She told herself that it was only for the chase and that if she ever said yes, he wouldn't want her anymore. He didn't and would never love her and that was just fine because she most certainly was too young and busy to preoccupy herself with silly things such as messy-haired boys who didn't take no for an answer. And so it would go on like this until she was finally ready to come out of her self-induced ignorance and really see what was right infront of her.
