The plot follows his attempt to create and lead a world cleansed of evil, dodging all who try to stop him.

1. Introduction to Death Note: The Musical

Author's Note: The following fic is a revised script of the 2015 production Death Note: The Musical. Originally written for American audiences, the musical premiered in Japan and had a successful run of many shows in Japan, Korea, and Russia.

The music was composed by Frank Wildhorn, best known for productions like Jekyll and Hyde and Dracula: The Musical, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and the script was written by Ivan Menchell. Death Note is based on the manga series of the same name, written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata.

With news of an English production coming its way, I've decided to write a revised script that might suit well for an English speaking audience and fix some story issues the original had. Some songs will feature lyrics from both languages to better fit the characters and story presented in the musical.

Here is the cast I believe would be best fit for the characters (subject to change for those who have better suggestions)

Terrence Mann: Soichiro Yagami

Haley Orrantia: Sayu Yagami
