Minerva McGonagall walked through the hallways of Hogwarts. As she walked, her footsteps echoed rather loudly. She was currently in the third floor corridors when she noticed something. She squinted through her glasses and saw that it was a shadow. She walked closer towards it. The shadow was obviously a male but when she got close to it, the shadow disappeared. She continued walking. 'Well that was odd, but it could've been my imagination' she thought. When she got to the end of the corridor she noticed something and screamed. There at the end of the hallway was the dead body of Blaise Zabini. Zabini was dark-skinned young man with high cheekbones and long, slanting eyes that put a chill in the air. Although Zabini was vain and prejudiced, he was still a student! No student deserved this, not even the worst students in Hogwarts, Crabbe and Goyle. When she looked at the body there was a transparent knife in his chest that seemed to be made of shadow. There was blood all over his chest and some was still leaking out. His eyes were wide open and he had a look of shock on his face, as if he was murdered in surprise. Albus and Severus ran in and Severus said,
"What is wrong Minerv-"but he was cut off as he looked at Zabini's dead body. Albus, Minerva and Severus paled. It broke into an icy, deadly silence. When Albus finally said,
"W-who do you think did this?" Minerva or Severus didn't reply. None of them had any idea who or what could've done this. If only they knew…
