This is my very first post on , so please be kind. I've never claimed to be a writer, but I was bored in my Contemp Math class today, so I decided to give it a go. Enjoy.
Charlie
As soon as the contractions started, he never left her side. As they got worse, he gave her his hand to hold. She was pretty sure she had broken a few of his fingers from the squeezing. He helped her breathe when it was time to push. When the baby was born, she named him Charlie.
By Her Side
When she craved peanut butter, Charlie had brought her a jar of "extra creamy." When they were kidnapped, Charlie had whispered soothing words to help calm her nerves. When she had her child, Charlie had been there to hold her hand. And when she realized she loved him, Charlie had covered her face with kisses.
Help
It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child. This could not be truer than on their island. When Claire's baby girl was born, the entire community jumped to help out. Hurley caught and made all of her food. Sun watched the child when Claire needed some time to herself. Locke built a shelter for her, and made toys for entertainment. Charlie held her in his arms at night while he slept next to her mother.
