Arwen crossed Rivendale's courtyard, her raven hair placed on top
of her head in a messy bun. Her father Elrond was in the great hall
talking with the fellowship of the ring. Her greatest love Aragorn was
amongst the People who offered to go and protect Frodo Baggins of the
Shire. The others amongst Aragorn were Gimli son of Gloin, Gandalf the
grey, Boromir of Gondor and Legolas son of the wood. Arwen wished to see
her love to give her something the most beautiful gem Arwen's personal
light the Everstar. She took Aragorn to the most secluded place in all of
Rivendale. The place she called wonderhollow. The bridge stretched over the
entire lake. There she held Aragorn's hand and pocketed the everstar in his
hand. "Take it. It will always remind you of me no matter how far you are."
She whispered in his ear. "I," he started "could never ever forget you."
With these words Aragorn turned and walked away most likely to help Frodo
and the others prepare for the quest they would be soon facing.
The day that the fellowship left Arwen went to her chambers lied on her bed and looked out of the gap between the egg white columns. She saw them loading the ponies' and horses the dwarf sharing with Legolas, Aragorn getting has own horse and the hobbits each got their own pony. An extra horse carried all the supplies. Gandalf was riding a horse Arwen did not recognize a white one with big black eyes. She overheard them saying that the big white horse was one of Rohan's best, Shadowfacts she believed was his name. She knew that if she saw Aragorn again it would be several months later. There was a chance that she might not ever see him again, alive anyways.
She quickly ran down the chamber steps to the front courtyard. But by the time she finally reached the courtyard the horses and ponies tails were flicking flies off at the end of the road about to make their turn. Her heart sank for she had never said good-bye or even good luck. The quest the fellowship faced was far too great to be done alone that is why there were so many companions in the fellowship. She was heartbroken she must say good-bye to Aragorn but...how?
Arwen and Elrond did not know and currently neither will you until the next chapter guaranteed to be on by March 21st.
