Hope.

He was running through corridors, with doors on each side.
He could hear her calling out to him. Every door he tried was locked.
He ran up flights of stairs, her voice seeming to become stronger.
"Elizabeth." He called her name but it just echoed back at him.
He kept running.
Reaching the end of a corridor he was met by two large doors.
Pushing them open he ran into a court yard, filled with waterfalls and gardens.
To anyone else, this place would be peaceful and harmonious.
"Elizabeth?" there was no answer. He started running again. People were coming at him from all directions.
"She's evil."
"She deserves to die."
"Do you want to join your beloved?"
Blocking out their voices, he ran into a clearing.
He gasped at what he saw.
In the middle of the clearing was Elizabeth Weir. She was tied to a stake. He could see a man lighting the wood at the bottom of the pile.
Screaming, he ran towards them.
He could hear her start to cough. He could also hear a baby crying. Spinning around, he saw a man walking towards him. In his arms he held an infant.
Elizabeth's coughs had stopped, and her head had fallen into her chest.
The man had stopped walking towards him and was now holding a dagger over the crying baby.
"Look what you have done. I told you, you would not be able to protect them both forever. And now because of you, they are both going to die.

John Sheppard bolted up into a sitting position. He was covered in sweat and was breathing heavily. In the distance he could hear a baby crying. Running a hand through his hair he made his way into his 3 month old daughter's room.
She lay there, screaming. He lifted her up and walked out onto his balcony. Holding her close, he looked up at the stars. He could hear the waves crashing below him.
Sacsha had fallen asleep in his arms. He watched her. She looked like Elizabeth. She had the same shaped face, same lips but she had Johns nose and eyes.
John looked up at the sky again. His wife was out there somewhere.
Sacsha was special. That's why they took Elizabeth. She had given birth to a savior.
A child who will defeat the wraith and show people freedom.
A small group, know as the 'Chelm' worshipped the wraith. When they found out about Sacsha, they tried to take her. Once they realized it was impossible they took Elizabeth, vowing to make sure she would never conceive a child like Sacsha ever again.
John felt Sacsha move in his arms. She had only been a week old when her mother was taken from her.
It was getting cold, so John placed his daughter back in her cot.
Images from his dream still haunting him, he pulled up a chair and kept watch over his sleeping child.
Every attempt to find Elizabeth had turned out unsuccessful.
He sighed. He knew she was alive still. He could feel it, and he was going to find her. No matter how long it took.
That just had to have hope.

This is just a little story that came to me last night. It will have a sequel, I don't know when but it will!
