I would like to dedicate this fic to my little brother. Happy Birthday bro. Best wishes and may more happy birthdays come your way.

I have a little surprise for all those Filipinos out there and other foreigners who love Metal Fight Beyblade. If you want to see it I believe you have to finish this Fic first.

Disclaimer: Don't own it, I write bout it. Period.

Dedication.

It's what makes us put our all in anything we do. To some, it is unimportant as long as you finish the job at hand but it's actually one of the most significant keys in anything you do. Dedication opens up something inside of us that wants to make you do more of the work. It makes us enjoy it and cherish every single moment of the journey until its end.

That was what Ryuga was feeling right now.

In his entire life all Ryuga could think about was beyblading and winning. When he suffered his first defeat during Battle Bladers he felt…empty. It was like his life was over. He didn't have a purpose anymore. He had everything and then it suddenly vanished. Ryuga is too proud to ever be let down by something as trivial as this so he trained to became stronger. To get his mind off it. Pretty soon he managed to get Meteor L-Drago and he felt whole again. It was a happy moment for him.

Not that he'll ever admit being happy.

Then his second defeat came and went. Ryuga had that empty feeling again. Honestly speaking, he wanted to die. That way he won't feel so alone anymore. But the cliché thing happened. Life flashing before his eyes. All that flashed before him was the one thing he'd been searching for.

Purpose.

To train Kenta to take his place, to help the Legendary Bladers defeat Nemesis and to…..to…..to have a family again. When he suffered his defeat he felt that his purpose was finally over. But when he found himself lying in a hospital bed the next day he suddenly realized that life had so much more to offer. And he was gonna live every single day of his life to…well….live life to the fullest. So maybe he doesn't have a purpose now, that doesn't mean he should just throw life away, right? He had a family and that was enough to satisfy him. It was a few months later that he finally found a purpose.

Family.

Ryuga bursted through the door, panting and sweat rolling off his body. In his hand he clutched a small brown box. He couldn't believe he made it.

"RYUGA!"

The Dragon Emperor looked. Ryuto walked towards him a few pieces of confetti covering him and a party hat on his head.

"You made it," he said happily.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world," replied Ryuga, smiling as he did so. But knowing Ryuga it looked more like a smirk. He handed him the box which his brother accepted.

"Happy Birthday, Ryuto."

Moral of the Story: Everyone has a purpose in life. If you fell like you don't then just look at the people who loves you and you'll realize what it is.

I would like to thank my classmate, nicknamed 'Sweet Vinegar' (don't ask why) , who wrote the story that inspired this fic. I salute you.
