Kiba had been on a 6 months long mission. Now, he was finally coming back to Konoha. Snow was falling from everywhere, blanketing the world in white and he had on thing in mind: find his warm house and his beautiful mate, Carolyn.
Just thinking of her amber eyes, soft skin and chocolate hair drove him to go faster still. The village wasn't too far now was it? As soon as the gates came in view, he did a last sprint to the Hokage Tower.
"Hey Uzumaki!" he called, entering the office.
"Oh Kiba!" Hinata gasped. Then smiling, she hugged him. "It's nice to see you again." Releasing him, she gestured to the adjacent room. "Naruto's in there."
"Thanks."
He opened the door and peeked in. "Naruto?"
"Mutt!" The Kyuubi vessel smiled happily. "Happy you're back alive! I'll just take that report and you can go."
Almost flinging the papers to the blond, Kiba ran out, intent on getting home. As soon as the door was opened, the homely scents assaulted his senses, but something was different… what was this new scent? It was… sugary? Sweet?
"Carolyn?"
"Kiba-koi?" the sweet voice called from their bedroom. "Over here!"
Walking in, he gasped: lying in the bed, he pyjama blouse open, her brown spilled around, Carolyn was feeding a small cub.
"Carry…"
She smiled softly. "Welcome home."
