Hey guys so its X and heres a super old fic I wrote and it never got published. Enjoy!

"Now go make me some nachos!" she commanded.

"Okay" he grinned. Grabbing his hat he turned to leave. "You coming?"

"Um in a minute." Star answered, still leaning over the railing.

"Star?"

"Yea?" She turned around.

"Are we ok?" He asked with a sad look.

"Of course! I just, um, I'm going to change. I'll be down in a minute for nachos." She smiled. He smiled back and walked through the door.

Star waited until she heard her bedroom door close before exhaling a loud sigh.

What a night. What happened down there? She had been so excited to go the ball! And then once down there all of her old feelings for Tom came rushing back...and they were not good ones.

Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes. Opening them she gazed up at the red moon with another gusty sigh.

The red light shone on her and her mysterious dance partner.

What had that light been all about? It was the same color as the blood red moon above her. She had been so entranced when the palm dropped from the ceiling and the crescent ruby popped out of it. Some judge looking guy had been explaining it while she stared.

What was it he had said? she thought. It felt...important somehow.

Something about soul-binding and ruby brodeom? Ugh it was all gibberish. Star closed her eyes again. Then shot them open with a gasp.

The red light didn't start to gleam until she had started dancing with the stranger who was really MARCO!

Star covered her mouth with her still gloved hand.

Her and Marco? Destined to be together-forever?

No, she dismissed the thought. After all she liked Oskar. And Marco liked Jackie.

But maybe...Marco was super sweet to her, he actually noticed her(especially earlier in her dress), and he was her best friend(beside Pony Head). And there was the whole dance thing. AND the talking at the same time.

"I like Marco Diaz" she whispered. Then groaned.

This wouldn't do at all.

"I like Marco Diaz" she said again, just to...get it out of her system. She shook her head. Nope she would just ignore the whole thing.

Stepping into her room she heard a voice float upstairs.

"Hey Star, nachos are ready!"

This would be harder than she thought.
