FYI: I originally wrote this poem as plain expression of myself, then I thought that in a strange or poetic way, it fits Raven and Dove.
Anarchy in Heaven
I'm far too lost
Broken for so long
No words can mend me
Don't try
- - - - -
It's all so clear!
No hope is left
Don't save me
- - - - -
Losing my mind
- - - - -
I'm not just resting on the wings of insanity
I've taken off
Amazing how losing my mind is the key
(To peace and freedom) - The wind and the sky are mine
- - - - -
Happiness is key, so it's said
Key to what door?
So I try and unlock and I'm led
To all the anarchy in heaven
- - - - -
It's all so clear!
No hope is left!
Don't save me
- - - - -
Losing my mind
- - - - -
I'm not just resting on the wings of insanity
I'm gone now
I've crashed and burned inside of me
Don't follow
- - - - -
Yet the darkness is comfort
Can't be saved
(by)
All the heaven's anarchy
- - - - -
I'm far too lostEmotions lie in our minds, it's true
But god only knows what they do
- - - - -
All of us dreaming
Sleep in our own sanctuary
- - - - -
Is it really so simple?
Can peace be contained?
- - - - -
I've lost the path of insanity
AlrightWill someone please come find me
Save me from myself
- - - - -
I'm lost in the shadows of insanity
Once a haven
But to come into the light would be to blind me
Torturing myselfSo it's too late…
- - - - -
At least I know this dark
Still can't run or hide
- - - - -
Let me be, stay where I know myself
It's not so bad after all
I've risen anew from my fall
Why would I run from me?
Here I'm surrounded by safety
Not engulfed in all Heaven's anarchy
- - - - -
Wandering
Blurring my view to this life's world
All lost its clarity
Still I see no hope is left
Don't save me
- - - - -
Please
don't save me, please
for the love of Heaven's chaotic view
let me be
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Notes - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Insanity – meaning frustration, giving up, torment, etc.
Heaven- not as in after death; happiness, an optimistic view of the world, contentment, etc.
Kind of weird that happiness equals chaos in this poem…
I reminded myself a little of Amy Lee/Haltzer when I reread this…- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
