David awoke when drips of water started pattering on his forehead. He was in a dark, silent room. "Where am I?" David asked himself. He tried to stand up, but he couldn't. He noticed that he was tied down to the ground, his feet spread apart each with a hook pushed through them and tied together at each end.
He started to panic, and started feeling around him. He noticed his stomach was aching, like something was dug deep inside it. He felt like barfing, and had an amazingly painful headache. He still didn't know where he was, and was starting to scream. "HELP ME!!!" he yelled over and over again. He gave up after a while, no one was there. His eyes had now adjusted to the darkness, and he heard the noise of more breathing on the other end of the room. "Hello??? Is anybody there???" David said again. "Yes…" a voice came from the corner of the room. "Where am I???" the voice said. "I'm wondering the same thing…" said David "Is there a light-switch around here, anywhere?" David said. "Here!" the other voice called in, the room now growing bright. "Ahgg!!.." they both yelled in unison, the light blinding them.
Then it all came clear to them. They were in a death-room, with blood splattered all over the walls and floors, and dead bodies lying everywhere. David saw the face of the other, and noticed right away who it was. "James???" he said, surprised. "You're in the same trap as me, David…" James said. "It hurts…" David muttered. "We're losing too much blood…" he said. David realized there was a tape recorder lying next to him, and he picked it up. On the front of it there was a sign that read "PLAY". He pushed the play button, and started listening for something to happen.
"Hello, David. Congratulations, you have made it this far into my game. Do you remember about 3 months ago when you broke into a bank and robbed the place??? Yes..., that's why you're here. The device that you are staring at right now is hooked tight into your ankles and will started pulling you into the hole in front of you and you will be chopped into pieces. The pit is filled with saws, knives, and glass. Here's how to win the game: You have to pull the chains out of your ankles and kill James by putting him through the same trap and not letting him get out. The timer will start in 30 seconds, and will run until it hits 1 minute, and when it goes off one of you will be dead. When you kill James, the pit will shut and there will be a number printed on the top. Use the number to unlock yourself from the room. You will face you're next challenge there."
