Oh god, oh god, oh god. He's gone, he's gone. Vinney's dead. He's dead. Vincent. Valentine. Is. Dead.
That flash, and the little bits of his cloak that fluttered down from the sky was just enough to make Yuffie Kisaragi switch into a full-out panic mode. she began to fidget and wiggle slightly in place, chewing on her lower lip as her shocked gaze remained locked on the sky.
All the other AVALANCHE members watched oh-so-closely, too, staring up at the still brightly lit sky, for some sign that said if the ex-turk was really, truely, honestly dead or not. They prayed he was alive.
Yuffie knew she wouldn't get any kind of response, naturally, since Vincent had (seemed) to explode, but the ninja spoke anyways;
"...Vincent?"
She'd used a tone she never knew she had in her; something soft and quiet, and it had a tinge of sadness and worry in it. It was far different than her loud, high, carefree-like voice.
The Great Ninja Yuffie let her saddened gaze flick around the destroyed area, mentally hoping that somebody would come out and call 'cut!' and Vincent would come back, and AVALANCHE would be whole again, and everybody's be happy. Then again, life wasn't a movie that could be paused and rewound. God, if it was that easy, Yuffie would've been the happiest ninja in the entire world.
Thankfully, the entire situation could've been way worse --
Instead of just Vincent, everybody could've exploded (or..whatever it was that happened to Vinney), and instead of just the little bits of his dark red cloak slowly drifting down from the explosion, bits and peices of Vincent himself could've come with it (She couldn't get the image of bits of him littering the ground out of her head. Ew, gross.), or even worse, a completely whole dead Vincent could've come down (Then they'd have to have a funeral; they'd put him in the ground, and she would have to watch. She didn't want to watch them put him away like that. No way in hell would she ever go and watch that willingly). The last scenerio scared Yuffie the most because she didn't want him to be gone, and she sure as hell didn't want to watch him being lowered into the ground.
Thankfully, he was a l i v e.

D: dirge of cerberus' end makes me cry. it looks like it's going to be an amazing game, too. the graphics are like whoa. - too bad i suck at first-person-shoote games.
i'll just make my mommy play it for me. ;B
&& god, i was really hoping that this would be longer, and that it wouldn't turn out as a drabble - that's all i seem to be able to do right now, and it's so frusterating.
