Seto Kaiba
By Iyasu
I stand at a distance, watching
you.
The pride in your walk, your
piercing eyes of cerulean blue
The wind blowing gently through
your chestnut brown hair,
The depth in your cold hard
stare.
I slowly edge closer,
Not wanting to lose you in the
blur
Of the crowd around you, but
your metallic aura stands out;
It intrigues me, I want to know
what you're all about.
I follow your tall, well-built
figure as you walk down the street,
Making little to no noise, for
we should not meet.
Your white trench coat billows
in the wind;
I feel something stir from
within
I choke back a sob;
I won't
let you hear me.
It's too late, you turn, it's
me you see.
You walk towards me, I back
away,
We can't be together, I
shouldn't be here, I sadly say.
You reply that you do not care.
Seto, my love, my prince, I
shan't dare.
I'm not that I should be
forsaken,
You are the only one by whom my
heart can be taken.
You want me to surrender, to
stop my flight
I'm torn by the struggle,
needless is my plight.
I lose myself in your azure eyes
as down you look
At me, reading me like an open
book.
You lean closer to whisper into
my ear,
Follow your heart, there's
nothing to fear.
I smile, shakily at first,
When you touched my hand, I felt
about to burst.
Then you said that you had loved
me, right from the start,
And that you would never let
anything tear us apart.
