Long Who years and many Who tears,
had passed in the Mayors house.
Ninety six sisters and some to spare
Jo hadn't been noticed, nor did he care.
Slamming the door in his mother's wake,
he regretted the look adorning her face.
There were little Who shoes and little Who socks,
next to little Who doors with little Who locks.
Jojo tossed and Jojo turned,
for something now inside him churned.
For on that morning hard at work,
he'd been working on his Twerk.
Looking up through cogs and wheels,
he'd seen her leafing through the deals.
She came to the till to pay the bill,
record in hand of an unnamed band.
Peering out through curls of hair,
in that moment she saw him there.
Catching her breath and turning away,
she had almost forgotten to pay.
Long Who years and many Who tears,
hadn't dampened their memories.
For this was the girl from his christmas wish,
who'd miraculously appeared to give him a kiss.
With twinkling eyes and a moon like grace,
they had managed to finally get some space.
At the back of a party, ignoring the bass,
it found them standing face to face.
Pushing down the feeling of fear,
he tried to be calm having her near.
But just as the bass was starting to dim,
he felt her soft hand cuddling him.
He didn't know how, he didn't know why,
but he forgave her for everything by and by.
In a moment of warmth, a moment of pause,
he gave in to her graces and opened the door.
As their eyes met there was a bang and a fizz,
his heart would be hers, if she'd have it that is.
With trembling hands he tried hard for this,
to not get wrong the final kiss.
And as their lips and hearts did meet,
there was a sudden rising heat.
Enveloping them in warmth and laughter,
I suspect, they lived, happily. ever. after.
