Chapter 1: A disappointed day
It just tomorrow before Tails's birthday. He feel very excited about it and hoped Sonic and the others have some free time that day to come to his party. Tails have decided to called Sonic and the others to tell them about the party that he wanted to organised for himself. He walked to the phone, picked it up and dialed Sonic number first. The phone went ringing away.
After a few seconds, the phone was being picked up by Sonic. Tails happily and asked: "Hey Sonic, are you free tomorrow?" Tails asked.
"Sorry Tails. I am not free tomorrow." Sonic replied.
"How come?" Tails asked in a bit feeling disappointed.
"You see, I have to do a project with Shadow so I really can't..." Sonic have not even said finish when Tails started to speaked.
"I understand Sonic. Just continue with Shadow tomorrow." Tails said sadly.
Tails then immediately put down the phone and followed by Sonic. Sonic began to wonder about what Tails have asked him after he put down the phone.
"Why did Tails asked me whether am I free or not tomorrow?" Sonic wonder. Suddenly, he got it.
"Tomorrow is Tails's birthday! I almost forget about it. I guess I have to do the project with Shadow in the early morning so that I can get a present for Tails in the noon and at night, a suprised party for Tails." Sonic said to himself.
"I better called Shadow now to tell him about it." Sonic heard himself said. Sonic picked up the phone and dialed Shadow number. The phine was being picked up after a few ringing sound.
"Hello." Shadow called out.
"Hey Shadow, are you free tomorrow morning?" Sonic asked.
"Why do you want to know for?" Shadow replied.
"It because I wanted to change the project time to the early morning so that I can get a present for Tails in the noon." Sonic explained.
"Why do you want to get a birthday present for Tails?" Shadow asked in curiousity.
"That is because tomorrow is Tails's birthday." Sonic said.
"Tomorrow is Tails's birthday?...Ok, I go over to your house in the early morning." Shadow answered.
"Thanks Shadow!" Sonic replied.
They both put down the phone and back to where Tails was, he was so disappointed that Sonic was not free tomorrow and have lost the feeling to called the others and tell them about this. He want to a chair and sat down there like statue for very long.
