Chapter One: Arabelle Tachibana
A young girl walks the streets of Magnolia when she was rudely shoved. She hissed and brought her attention to a male, standing over her with a smirk. She stared at him, paralyzed in fear of getting hurt. She had never felt that much fear in a while. It only happens when she's in trouble.
"Hey, little one! Why don't you come with me and I can show you how fun I can be!" The man tried to grab her as she screamed, but she quickly stood and ran far away, with the man going after her. "Come on! I promise I won't be too rough!" he slurred.
"Leave me alone!" the young girl screamed. She came across a fork in the road and ran to the left, which lead her to a house, as she slowed her pace. She went to the door and pounded with all her might, calling for help. "Help! Please somebody, help me!"
It was a few minutes when the door slammed open. There was a young women who heard her pleads, and came rushing over with alarm. She brought the girl in her arms and softly kissed her head. The young girl trembled violently. "What's wrong, little one?" she asked softly.
The young girl pointed in the direction of the man. "That man is going to hurt me!" she cried and buried her face in the crook of the women's neck. A hand gently stroked the girls back before setting her down. "Leave it to me, little one! I'll protect you!" she assured.
The women pointed at the man with a glare. "You, you leave this poor little girl alone! You won't like the consequences if you disobey!" The young girl watched in awe at the women. Her chest grew tight at the kindness the women had on her. Like, she was special.
The man stopped feet away from the house, his eyes never leaving the small child at the young women's side. "I won't leave until I have the girl!" Then he came running. The girl screamed and shut her eyes tightly, she couldn't bare to see what's happening. She was too scared.
"Ice Make: Floor!"
With a shout of words, the young girl opened her eyes to see the ground covered in ice. The man that ran towards them slipped and slid away. The women laughed as the young girl processed when happened. She was in awe at what the women can do. She wished she was like her!
"How...how did you do that!?" the girl gawked.
The women chuckled, "I'll tell you later, but right now, we need to get you inside." The girl was taken in and saw two others as well. Ur looked to the two boys and smiled. "Gray, Leon, please get a bath running? This little one will be staying with us for a while."
Gray and Leon nodded without question, and leaves to prepare the bath, while Ur tends to the young girl beside her. "I'm Ur, but you can call me whatever you like! For now on, I'll be taking care of you, Arabella." Ur warmly smiled, easing the tension.
