Cassius was one of the other three werewolves in Derek Souza's pack. However, unlike the other werewolves, his termination had gone wrong, and it had only left him deaf before he escaped – successfully.
Cassius moved in with a loving family who then moved to Salmon Creek, a small, beautiful town near Vancouver.
Although, Cassius begins to get bad feeling about the town when things start to happen – bad things.
Penelope – his foster sister – unveils the worst of Salmon Creek to him, and just as they're about to leave Salmon Creek during a forest fire, Penelope goes missing.
Cassius makes it his goal to find Penelope, even if it means to ruin the plan of a few other people along the way, and even if it means he has to socialise with a boy he had hoped he'd never see again in his lifetime.
