They hunted me relentlessly. The wolves. They bit at the edges of my navy blue pants and tore at my flesh. A shred of light blue cloth stuck to a tree branch as the wolves hunted me. I could have killed them easily. All of them. But more would take their place. I wondered what had happened. One hit, and the wolves were on me. All I did was argue with him. He was destroying the world. He refused to settle down, instead choosing to grief as many places as possible. He pillaged the chests, bombed the villages and created monstrosities. He left forests burning as he walked and enticed the ocelots and wolves away from the forests. He trapped creepers and ocelots together. He killed with his bare fists for the sake of watching the animal flash red and squeal in pain. What had I done? I was slowing down. I was never much of a runner. Usually I would fight. But I didn't want to fight. Silver, the wolf that I had cared for since its spawn was among them, eyes glowing angrily at me. Silver lunged, claws bared. Another wolf clawed at my face. I swatted it away. Time seemed to stop for a second. My eyes were fixed on Silver. Silver...

One bone, one hit...

That's all it took for a wolf I had raised and helped for years to turn on me? I leapt up, placing blocks beneath me. I swatted Silver and a plethora of other dogs away using the flat of a wooden sword. It hurt to see my beloved pet writhing in pain as I hit it off me. There were a few puppies among my rabid attackers. Slowly I built a way out, away from the dogs... away from Silver.

There was the sound of horse hooves slowly approaching. The dogs growled louder. I was only halfway through building my way out when the man, a vile copy of me, rode in on a horse, as if he were too good for the ground.

He deserves to be ridden by a pig.

He stared at the crude tower of blocks and drew a sword. He quickly dismounted, hitting the horse in the process. He shoved his way through the dogs.

"Stupid dogs." he muttered, hitting them aside, using the sharpened edge of a sword made from stolen diamonds. I saw Silver being batted away like a fly. Silver still ran eagerly toward the cruel man, tail slightly lowered, tongue still hanging out disgracefully, returning to beg at the feet of the man. One hit and it was over.

It was Silver that tore at my throat as the man hit me off the tower. Silver who had given up on me for a bone and a comfortable life, begging for scraps, but never needing to move a paw, mere decoration in a household, given minimal food. The man stared at me, a twisted smile plastered upon his face as the dogs leapt at me.

Tears forming in the corners of my eyes, I batted the wolves away with a diamond sword. Killing Silver. One swift sword strike ended both the mad, slavering-jawed beast attacking me and the adorable puppy frolicking in the meadows. I fled, trying to ignore the tears mixing with the blood of the slash Silver had given me.

I had killed Silver...

I glared at my plans trying to find a way to hurt this heartless man as he had hurt me. He had no attachments to anyone. A self-righteous, dull witted, cruel, hot-tempered brat that relied on his wolves according to the villagers that survived his visits. I had tolerated this vile man for so long in my land... now he tries to kill me? He had stolen so much from me. My glowing white eyes pulsed with light in the darkness as I planned my revenge.
