While Darry was on his way to Corrin's new apartment Corrin had a friend over. The friend was Benjamin Tennyson. Ben and Corrin have been friends since they were little kids. Ben wanted to be more than friends though. He keeps on telling himself to wait until Darrel and Corrin break up but he can't take it in much longer.
"So x plus y equals 7?" Corrin asked.
"Yeah I think so.. Ugh I hate math!" Ben replied.
"Well maybe you'll like it if you actually tried." Corrin answered.
"Maybe..." Ben replied shyly.
There was a long pause. Then Corrin broke the silence.
"So, guess what!" Corrin said practically screaming.
"What, did you break up with Darry and you realize that you love me?" Ben said really fast.
"What?" Corrin asked.
"Never mind, what's the news?" Ben asked.
"Well, I think Darry might propose today! We've been dating for a long time now, and he has been saying that we should be together forever!" Corrin explained.
"Oh.." Ben said sadly. He thought there was actually a chance for him and Corrin. If he wanted a chance with her he would have to tell her how he feels; fast. Before Darry proposed, and certainly before they got married!
"Corrin, I think there is something I should tell you." Ben said.
"What is it Ben?" Corrin asked.
"Damnit Corrin, forget Darry I love you! I always have! Ever since we were five! You don't love Darry! Break it off with him and be with me!" Ben said. He was glad to finally glad to get that out of his system.
"Ben..." Corrin began to say. She interrupted by Ben's lips touching hers. I can't believe I'm doing this! Ben thought. What is he doing? Corrin thought. Corrin quickly pushed him away, she was about to say something about how they were never going to be together, but the. She heard something.
"Ahem" Darry said. Indicating that he was there.
" Darry I can explain!" Corrin said.
"You can?!" Darry said.
"It wasn't me! I swear it was Ben! I told him how you were coming over and I don't know he just kissed me!" Corrin explained.
"Is that the truth?" Darry asked.
"Yes honest." Corrin. Told him.
"You don't deserve her." Ben said quietly.
"What did you say to me runt? Last time I checked I was her fiancé." Darry said.
"What?" Corrin asked to Darry.
"Oh, I guess i forgot. Corrin, will you marry me?" Darry asked
"NO, YOU CAN'T MARRY HIM!" Ben yelled.
"What did you just say?" Darry asked.
"I love her its supposed to be me!" Ben yelled.
"Ben stop, just leave, we will never happen." Corrin said.
"That's what you think." Ben then took Corrin and held her at gun point out the back door. He was gonna kidnap her.
"Darry help me!" Corrin screamed.
"I'm coming!" Darry yelled.
"Help, Darry!" Corrin screamed back.
But it was too late. Ben had already taken Corrin into his car.
"I'm gonna take you so nobody else but me can love you!"
"No! You'll regret this Ben, Darry will find me!"
"No, he won't! I'm gonna take you to Texas! That's where my parents cottage is. You'll stay there until you learn to love me!"
"You'll never get away with this Ben!"
"But darling, I already have."
Ben then drove the car lighting speed to Texas. Meanwhile Darry was still at Corrin's apartment crying.
"I have to get her back!"
"We always find a way to be together!"
Unfortunately Darry might be wrong this time. He could never see Corrin again. Then Darry stated at the small diamond ring that Ben threw off of Corrin's finger to the floor.
