All the nin in the Anbu squad had given up telling Kakashi that he should be on time, it made no difference anyway. He strolled in whenever he felt like it always ready with an unbelievable or somewhat witty excuse. They also knew that if Kakashi had been out with Iruka the night before he would be even later than usual but he would be in an extremely good-natured mood. So they had to take the trade-offs where they could get them, either Kakashi would be surly and grab his coffee and head to his desk right away or he would be amicable and almost friendly but very very late.

Genma decided that it was high time someone informed Kakashi that his antics were out of control. What someone had to let him know that he was a full of himself little shit. Okay well maybe not if they valued their life but if he did this right Kakashi wouldn't know who did it, if he was lucky. So early one morning before anyone arrived at the Anbu Headquarters Genma left Kakashi an official looking memo on his desk. He really wished he could stick around and see his face. When Kakashi came to work grabbed his coffee and headed straight to his desk they knew it was going to be one of those days. A few minutes later they heard him scream something that sounded like GENMA I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!, and they scattered as best they could. Being jounin they could all scatter pretty spectacularly.

Genma's (not so) Official Memo to Kakashi:

Dear Hatake Kakashi,

It has come to my attention that you have arrived late for assignments and meetings 49 out of 50 times this year.

I would also like to take this opportunity to advise you that you and Iruka can stop sneaking around, pretty much everyone in the village knows about you two at this point. If you insist on continuing to be late I will have Iruka walk you to work. If that does not have any effect I will send Iruka off on a mission until the foreseeable future. When he is about to return I will send you on a mission. I hope we have reached an understanding, I am not a woman to be taken lightly.
