Hi! I felt like writing more supercorp, again it's not great but hey! I tried! This is the first prompt I've done, generously gifted by a friend of mine XD. Prompt - Lena walks in and catches Kara singing to Scouting for Girls' 'Bad Superman' in full Supergirl outfit and is sHoOk.
The story of how Lena discovered Kara was supergirl? Yeah, that's a good one. If you'd expected some super (pun not intended) sincere and insanely serious confession or apology - nope! Oh boi, here we go!
Today hadn't been a particularly great day.
Full of tiring paperwork and excruciatingly boring meetings, all Lena wanted to do was collapse and sleep.
But above all, right now she was happy.
After she'd dolled herself up in her office, she called a driver and headed off to Kara's apartment.
As much as she'd tried to, she could never resist her new girlfriend's adorable blue puppy eyes. Kara had begged her to come over for an official-unofficial one month anniversary. But she had to admit, hearing the word 'girlfriend' when talking about Kara was something she'd never quite get used to.
And so she made her way up to Kara's apartment and checked her watch, just a little early (15 minutes...), Kara wouldn't mind.
As she lifted her hand and knocked, her attention was drawn by loud music blaring from the speaker.
Scouting for girls - 'Bad Superman'. Wait... Why did she know that!? Damn Kara and her cheesy music were influencing her. As loud as the music was, she was certain the reporter couldn't hear her, so she knocked louder and slowly entered.
Oh.
She was not prepared for this.
She knew they both had secrets, and they would clear over time. But this was one way to find out something this big.
Kara - clad in full supergirl gear - was childishly dancing around her apartment while expertly singing along with Roy Stride.
"The only time I use my X-ray powers
is when I think you're gonna take a shower!"
As Kara danced, completely oblivious to her girlfriend's arrival, Lena's smile grew as the lyrics continued, and her desire to be and stay with Kara only grew stronger, if that was even possible of course.
"The only super thing about me, was you!"
The song finished off and Kara's dancing stopped - much to Lena's dismay - before she resumed preparing for Lena's coming over.
"You know, I never realised supergirl liked Scouting for girls." Lena's voice snapped the Kryptonian out of a haze as she slipped on her cape with the surprise. "It makes me wonder why I never figured this out earlier."
"Lena! Hi! What are you..? Why're you..? What!?"
"One month anniversary? You invited me over for our official-unofficial celebration."
"You're early!" Kara sputtered as she leapt to her feet and supported herself on her table.
"Yes, but honestly, I didn't expect an appearance from supergirl! Unless she's here for a little more than just dinner...
"Oh Rao..."
Yep, sometimes a dorky girlfriend is the best girlfriend.
