Summary: Instead of Catapie being Ash's first capture what if him and Misty found an injured shiny Eevee, that has the ability to talk is found laying on the ground next to an stiff Umbreon and Espeon who were killed by poachers. Will Eevee join Ash to put an stop to Pokèmon poaching or do it alone?

Ash Ketchum and Misty Waterflower can be seen walking through the Vribian Forest. The sound of wimpering and a trail of a red liquid caught their attention.
"Oh my Arceus! Ash someone might be hurt!" The water trainer cried out, worrying for whoever the trail of blood belonged to was still alive.
All Ash could do was give her a small nod and run off following the trail.
As the whimpering grew louder, the trail of blood grew fainter. The faint trail lead to the dead bodies of an male Shiny Umbreon, and a female Espeon.
"Who could of done such an thing?" Ash asked himself, as he dropped to his knees.
An unknown voice then came from behind the dead pokemon. "You humans that who!" The voice cried out anger clear in its voice.
"Pika Pi!" Pikachu warned the voice. And somehow the voice understood Pikachu.
"I don't care every human is the same they are the reason why Mama and Papa are dead!" The voice cried. A strange coloured Eevee jumped in front of the dead Pokemon. Instead of it being brown or silver, the Eever was an dark brown almost black, with sky blue eyes.
Misty, Ash, and Pikachu were stunned to see an Eevee look so beaten up to the point that it was struggling to do anything, and to be so mad as well.
"You humans will pay!" The Eevee declared, as it charged at them.
