Hermione Jean Granger stormed through the crowded corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in long determined strides. Her gaze was flitting every which way as she looked for someone who would be more likely to join her - well, their cause. A stack of enchanted pamphlets rested in her arms as she walked quickly through the corridor - they were made to seem normal to the untrained eye, but to those who were willing to stray from Umbridge's routine it would show an invite of sorts. A recruitment letter, if you will. Now, she couldn't hand it out to just anyone, she had a limited supply after all.
Her gaze landed on Neville Longbottom, who stood right outside of the charms classroom, engaged in a conversation with none other than Luna Lovegood. She took a deep breath and then walked over in their direction, two pamphlets ready in her free hand. She'd thought it would be challenging to recruit at least twenty followers for their first Army meeting - what with Harry and Ron both in detention - she didn't know at first how she'd do it alone.
But talking with Luna and Neville, both of whom were willing to tell their friends and help recruit members, she had a feeling that now it would be easier than she'd originally thought. And that was a brilliant thing, because in this time, with Umbridge running rampant in the school. Now, with Voldemort being back and threatening a war.
Now they needed something like Dumbledore's Army more than ever.
