His breath was short, his throat parched. He had been running for a long time. He could smell the musty and damp smell of the tunnels. He knew these tunnels well, people often got lost in the Paris tunnels but he had been there many times before. There was plenty of artwork on the walls but he had no time to admire them, they all passed in a blur.

"Come back here!" A shrill voice screamed behind him

He knew he was slowing; he had been shot and cut. Honestly, he didn't think that she would see him tonight. Another shot rang through the air, it hit him dead on, really he could probably take her out but he knew that it would be a waste of energy and really he didn't want to, she was fun to toy with. He tripped and fell.

"Got you now you bloody vampire!" She hissed

"I see what you did there… Artie" he said, chuckling

"I- stop talking, you're in a vulnerable position, and you're in no place to be making fun of me," she hissed, trying to hold in her anger.

Artemis had been chasing him for years and now she finally had him. (She knew inwardly that he was merely toying with her as he hadn't made a move to attack her) Shaking her head, she told herself to get back on the task at hand.

Turning around to reach into her pocket while still holding the gun to the vampire's face, she grabbed a lemon from her pouch. Grinning evilly she tried to shove the lemon into the vampire's mouth. He turned his head.

"Stop that right now!" she growled, getting angry

"My, my, such a short temper for a young lady." The vampire teased

"Shush! You're lucky I don't have my cross on me!" she hissed

Grabbing his chin, she shoved the lemon whole into his mouth, smiling triumphantly.

Nothing happened.

"What? Why aren't you dead?" she cried.

Grabbing the lemon out of his mouth while making a face, he spat a few times to get the taste out of his mouth; the lemon didn't do much for his throat. His vision swirled red, he really shouldn't have thought about his throat.

"Well dear, you forget that I am not a Celtic vampire, no? I thought that being a vampire hunter you would know all the different kinds of vampires, but it seems like you are just too inexperienced." He purred, giving her a look that made his intentions clear.

"Humph! I assure you I am no amateur! I just did not know that you were of another nationality." Artemis huffed, surprising him as she didn't seem to see his intentions.

"Then pray tell dear, what nationality am I?" he asked teasingly

"Uh…." She stammered.

Her gun lowered. He grinned at her knowingly.

"H-hey! Stop that! I do know!" she cried

He stood up, inching closer to her.

"Really?" he whispered, his vision was coated nearly all in red, his throat itching almost unbearably.

She put a hand to his chest to try to push him away but he was much stronger than her.

"Personal space please!" she huffed, her face turning red.

He lowered his mouth to her neck, finding her pulse. He chuckled lightly when he found it jumping rapidly. Sinking his teeth into her pale flesh, he felt so much relief when his throat felt cooled by her blood. Her blood was sweet but rich and thick.

She slumped as her knees gave out, she was still half-conscious when he finished.

Turning, he said giving her a charming smile "I'm French by the way."

He didn't kill her; though, it was much more fun to play with his food anyway.

Hiya guys! It's been a while but I wrote something and decided to post it.

This was for an English thing, the prompt was that we had to look into different types of vampires depending on where the beliefs came from and then write a story so... now you have a FrUK story.

Bye! :D
