Almost
Yuna knows it's wrong. She tries to understand why she is so fascinated of him – he is arrogant, cocky little bastard, who loves flirting with everyone – men and women – and overall he is just annoying, but still Yuna can't help but love him.
Yuna dreams of him almost every night. His hands and lips and those moments they spent together. She hardly rememberes when it started – maybe that day when they first met, maybe later. Maybe, somehow, she has always loved him. That idea makes her laugh, because that is not reasonable, but maybe that is why she fell on the another blonde in the beginning.
Yuna feels terribly guilty. It's Tidus she is supposed to love, it's Tidus she brought back to life. And in a way she does love him – but not in the same way she loves Gippal.
Yuna walks home – home she shares with Tidus – and thinks Gippal again. He is at Besaid 'visiting old friends'. That is what he says, but Yuna knows that he is here to see her only. She knows that today or tomorrow or day after that he comes to see her, and she will meet him gladly. And Yuna knows that there is a change that Tidus sees them together.
Yuna does not want to hurt Tidus in any way.
She finally arrives to their apartment, and sees Tidus. She smiles and tries to act normal, but she knows that Tidus notices she is only faking. He is good with people like that, and that is why Yuna is so worried.
Tidus says hello in his casual tone. Then he scratches his neck uncertainly.
"I heard that that Gippy-guy is here."
Yuna is surprised and terrified and tries not to blush or look too guilty. "Gippal", she says nervously. "Yes, he is here."
Tidus stares her for a moment. He has guessed long ago what is between Yuna and that Al Bhed, and today he knows finally what he has to do.
He leads Yuna again towards the outdoor.
"Yuna, really, go for him."
Yuna has never been more surprised. She turns to see Tidus' blue eyes and the little sad smile that curves on his lips.
Next thing Yuna knows is that she is walking towards the house where Gippal is staying. She can still hear Tidus calling after her, wishing her good luck.
Yuna does not expect Gippal to open the door himself, but he does. For a moment they stare at each other, and she has no idea what to say. She just stands there and looks at him.
Yuna has almost forgotten how good kisser Gippal is.
