The adrenaline connected to his blood as soon as he stepped into the dim hallway. It was racing around his body as he took each step toward the loud crowd. His nerves didn't exist anymore just pure energy. This is it; this was what he was made for.
He rolled his neck as he put in his earpiece feeling nothing but excitement. He felt the presence of his best friends behind him; ready to catch him if he faltered. He knew they were in the same position as he was, they were feeling this rush. This was their dream and it was happening now.
"Check check. Can you boys hear me?" James' voice spoke into his ear sounding as if he was right there.
He smirked and replied a yes along with Kendall and Logan into the microphone. He jumped a few times as he awaited James's words to come again.
"This is it. This is what we've worked for; this is the garden. Nothing can stop us now. I love you guys and I wouldn't want to walk onto that stage with anyone else." James said causing a grin to appear on his lips. The adrenaline snapped through his arms and neck and he knew nothing would ever feel as superior as this.
"It's gonna be a big time rush. Love you boys." Logan's voice cut into the transmission and he felt a pat on his back from Logan; encouraging him.
"You're my big brothers; my best friends and I wouldn't want to take the world without you. Love you."Kendall admitted in his calm innocent voice.
He smirked and knew what he had to say to complete this dose of comfort and anticipation.
"The city isn't ours anymore, the fucking world is ours. Don't let me screw it up, okay?" He said, needing more words of confidence to keep this energy moving throughout his limbs.
"We got you Carlos." Kendall, Logan and James all chorused as they stepped up to their marks, shoulder to shoulder.
Carlos grinned as the lights went out and the screams pierced his ears. All he had needed to get here was standing on both sides of him. He had them covered and they had him; together they had this moment. This moment; this stage was theirs.
In seconds the spotlight blinded him and the screams tore his eardrums but he felt his best friends right there and knew there was no going back, there was no need to.
They had their dream in their hands, under their feet, in front of their eyes and in the air they breathed.
Nothing could stop them.
Seriously right now. I have no idea where this came from. I was listening to The Show Goes On and BAM this was created. I guess it's simply what I thought would happen if BTR got to perform at Madison Square Garden because that place is legend. This was just random so feel free to think however you want about it.
